Hi all. I have not yet reinvested in BP. I like the proposed direction BP is taking especially the mention of Hydrogen. Whilst oil and gas will be around for the near future, anyone with a ounce of foresight can see that its use is in a decline. With BPs massive infrastructure i see no real problems in rolling out a hydrogen based transport system. I admit there are several problems to overcome but quite possible with the correct amount of investment. ATB Speedy

Hi TMT. Maybe i should have stated my reason for posting that info a bit clearer so that you could understand the ramifications. So here goes. Most people regard property as the best investment, gold has out performed property by a considerable margin. We are in a upward trend in the POG. With a higher POG the profit margins for gold miners increases faster than the POG. When the gold from HAV is sent to the refiners to be sold as 99.99 pure gold i can assure you that the POG will be considerably higher than it is today. That makes an investment in GGP very worthwhile. No effect on the Earths rotation though. ATB Speedy

Hi All. I have just read a report from Micheal Oliver, a very knowledgeable goldie". POG by year end to be minimum $2600/$2900/oz siver $30+/oz. He also predicts Junior miners will out perform the rest of the market. Time to redo the profit/oz predictions?, be interesting to see the estimates given on here by our many "in house experts". Hi TMT. You are correct i have no big holdings where any of the big bankers are connected. My main holdings are in physical metals held outside the banking industry, the exceptions is a small trading/gambling acct for trading metals, unfortunately JPM are custodians. I also have an ISA with HL for my WPM,GGP,AMC and GDXJ punts. ATB Speedy

Hi Blue. My trading/gambling in silver is done mainly in ETFs PHAG PHSP but not not for long term holding, I do like the royalty/streaming COs WPM to name one. My main holding in gold and silver is via Britannias held in the UK and Switzerland. This is not advice just my personal take. ATB Speedy

Hi HydrO. Your attitude makes you look pompous. I am sure you are not. For you to assume my dislike of JPM stems from my very minor loss in SXX is a bad assumption. Their involvement in the SXX saga pales to nothing compered to the sub prime crisis, blatant manipulation on the COMEX, mixing it up with LIBOR plus too many to mention.
