After selling your etf in silver try Sharps Pixley "bullion dealers" i have been using them for years and find the service very good with fair premiums on gold Brits "in normal times" a bit high today, their insured storage fees are very reasonable and remember no VAT or CGT on Brits. There are also several offshore Cos that will sell you and safely store silver Brits, VAT and CGT free, but the storage and spreads hurt a bit but the coming rise in price of silver should well take care of that. You only pay VAT on the silver Brits if you take delivery. ATB Speedy

Hi Jerryspaniel. I certainly do not hold it under the floor boards, its in the attic. Seriously though, i hold in several different places, my scrap and in hand gold is held with a jeweler friend of mine, gold Britannias are in an insured vault in the UK and silver Britannias are held offshore. I also have an account with Gold Money and find the service pretty good, i also have silver in 2 etfs PHAG, PHSP to hedge the FX problem, as to whether they own the silver out right is up for debate. Hi Tiggerman. The price of gold is controlled by the bullion banks, JPM etc. The price will rise when they want it to. The paper market, at the moment, dictates the physical market. They will want to hold the price at set levels $1700,$1800, $1900. Each move higher will be rigorously defended at these levels. It has been this way for ages, but maybe this time it is different. Hi All. Just wasted the last hour searching for some Gold Britannias. The only firm offering in stock is The Royal Mint @£1667/oz. The premiums are showing the diff between paper god and physical gold, plus the refining and deliver issues, have read today refining has opened up in Switzerland. I suggest anyone wishing to purchase bullion wait a while for things to hopefully calm down and premiums reduce. The price you pay in the future will more than today but the premiums will be smaller. Hi All. I see this C19 virus being around for a long time. Eventually a vaccine will be produced in large enough quantities to beat it but that is a year away, at least. In the mean time the movement of people and goods will decline. I have been advised by the Royal Brompton Hospital, probably one of the worlds best lung clinics, that i should look at self isolating for the forseeable future. This does not bode well and i see further falls in productivity. I do not like the term but "dead cat bounce " springs to mind. All a bit gloomy but just the way i see it. ATB Speedy

Hi All. I am hoping for a JV on the 25% after fair value 5% deal, as the profits from mined gold will be huge. The problem, as i see it, is the mining will be done with the expertise and experience of one of the best miners around. How do you put a fair price on that sort of track record. I see this as a stumbling block and negotiations for a JV will be very complicated. ATB Speedy

Hi All. predictions of 235p to 400p,so no one really knows. i personally see a figure nearer to the 235p prediction. If you had any idea of what the world is facing, massive unemployment, huge amounts of un payable debt. money printing gone crazy, zero interest rates, end of share buy backs, massive fall in movement of people and goods. Our wonderful Co really needs to grasp the nettle and use the financial clout and infrastructure to help society out of this hole. Hi Flare . The Hydrogen band wagon is the future. Maybe not tomorrow because the big boys first need to off load their heavy battery powered EVs to mug punters. Battery powered EVs will be good for small delivery and around town transport. Still a good market for AMC. ATB Speedy

Hi Posotive. The P.M. miners have taken a hit along with most sectors. The diff with miners is the stuff in the ground is still there and will be mined shortly. The well managed miners will recover.
