Hi Flare. Just watched the utube vid, fuel cell v battery. It makes sense until you get into the real world. Grid system is not prepared and will need untold £/$ billions to upgrade, forget renewables as the sun does not always shine and the wind does not always blow so fossil fuel power stations will also be needed as backup, doubling costs. Auto manufacturers have been trying to make cars lighter and lighter for decades, so where is the sense in carting around batteries giving an extra 20% in total weight, and constantly losing efficacy with ever charge and the massive cost of replacement. My bet is that the boffins will find a way of cheaply breaking down water into h and 2o. When that happens batteries powered EVs will go the way of the horse. ATB Speedy

Hi Flare. Not quite sure what you are on about "true colours etc" been here for a long long time and still invested hoping for the best. Amc was on its asre long before the present crisis, so that is no counter. I really do wish all holders "the best". It is just my opinion that our savoir will not be battery powered EVs.

Hi Mcsquares. The bullion banks have twice today spiked the POG down by $100 a throw. It seems they have not given up yet, it must be squeaky bum time for the shorts. I wonder where the POG would be now without those interventions. ATB Speedy

Hi TDT.The reason i said "milk float batteries" is because the tech is still basically the same, carting around massively heavy power packs with a very low range. Regarding hydrogen, It is not just Japan, China has just opened the biggest Blue gas filling station in the world, Major truck builders are turning to blue gas so are warehouse fork lifts. I could go on. You have constantly spouted on the forum about how massive battery powered EVs are going to be and i think you are wrong. ATB Speedy

Hi Flare. The reason for the tone of my posts is the fact that AMC is on its asre. there must be a reason for the very low sp and why we have not had a bid, even a low ball bid. My personal opinion is that the battery powered EVs will not be as big as some predict. The world will always need nickle for stainless steel, that is why i invested here in the first place many moons ago. If my posts seem negative it is not my intention. I always say what i mean and always do what i say, a had a punt @ 16p, 3.6p and 1.6p. Would you be happy? Maybe this will come good but it does not look like it will. ATB Speedy

Hi Schlemiel. The paper market, to the best of my knowledge" is almost purely a $ bet, there is very very little delivery in the futures market and nearly all contracts are settled in $s. The system will break when calls are made for physical delivery, as the metals are not there. I understand that in that circumstance a force majeour will be announced and settlement will be made in $s and a default will close the market. ATB Speedy

Hi Schlemiel. Since JPM took over Bear Stearns short position in silver they have not made a loss on one single contract. How is that possible in other than a manipulated market. I do not care how lucky anyone is or how astute a trader they are it is not possible to pick a winning trade every time. The paper gold/silver market has been depressed with worthless $s, supplied by the FED, by the bullion banks to make it look like the FIAT currencies are good as opposed to real money ie gold/silver. One day soon the physical market will overrun the paper market and the manipulation will stop. ATB Speedy

Hi All. On the comex opening the bully boys (bullion banks) took the price down approx $50 only for it to bounce straight back up, it really is different this time and i feel the paper market manipulation is failing, at long last. ATB Speedy

Hi Tricky. I think you are wrong on that size of majority. Plenty of big players backing hydrogen EVs as opposed to "milk float" batteries. We will not have long to find out who is correct. ATB Speedy

China has just built and opened the biggest hydrogen filling station for fuel cell EVs, Tokyo is powering all their transport for the Olympic games with fuel cells, Amazon are using hydrogen fuel cells in most of their fulfilment centres, many truck manufacturers are turning to hydrogen. The writing is on the wall for battery powered EVs. ATB Speedy

Hi Johhny. The prices you keep on posting are pure speculation and are dependent on many factors, POG, how many ozs @ Hav, grades and recover ability. No one is saying 25p can not be reached but please stop posting it as if it is guaranteed. ATB Speedy

Must add that batteries are good for static storage and this is where they will be used The most.
