RE: Trading27 Jun 2023 12:20
The sp is deflated as is all the hype on the discussion boards. The current bid is weak and the market obviously wants to see last weeks low before bouncing again but that depends on next update tomorrow or Thursday.
3 months ago the m/cap was $240m and now we stand at $110m, that’s a 54% decline and based on what ? The intraday high in March was 8.6p and we were on the cusp of going back to double figures as the assumed active operational schedule would deliver good news, that and the dividend to push us into a new trading range. So we’ve lost 54% of our value on the fact that they’ve lost 400bopd, no progress on 141/2/5 and 155, no info on 802 and the divi situation ? Poor communication has been the key reason for the sp crash and as far as we know, throngs may be far better than we think but by leaving us in the dark, it’s caused the fear, uncertainty and doubt which has led to the current position. I really don’t get why their comms are so poor but it just compounds the fact that they don’t care about PIs. The big boys aren’t selling, it’s the PIs who dictate the price for Casper. If they wanted to raise money, they’d want the sp up as it avoids unnecessary dilution. They wanted new investors and divi otogran was part of that but to go into silence mode ? just leads to more FUD as to what’s really going on.
So where to next ? Obviously many PIs have sold out or maybe been squeezed out. Those who have sold maybe betting on shocking news and an opp to get in cheaper, others maybe liking at the technicals as we’re back on the 4p shoulders and which way next ? Obviously something has gone awry for them to go radio silence mode and cash flow must be part of that. I take the view that on paper (as far as we know), they’re in a far stronger financial position than they’ve ever been in and they have CE cash landing that wil improve that ensuring they can fund future operations plus pay Divis. Silence creates uncertainty and investors start to worry and hey presto loads of selling. Going to find out the true position over next couple of days and those going to the AGM need to ensure that all the important questions are asked. As I said, the WCP are all in the game and they want their payday so hopefully the fact that they’ve not sold down means there’s a fair chance of some positive news in that jamboree bag.
Tick, tock.
