To be honest I couldn't understand a word of the DVRG RNS.
I am of course a bear of little brain and no scientist but is the whole point not to "inform" the market which I reckon includes many numpties like me.

Colin had to issue that RNS to make it obvious that there is no new news today apart from what was announced on 11 Feb.
That ought to have been obvious anyway to anyone apart from the hype merchants.
Had the RNS not been issued and a huge spike resulted there may have been significant damage to the companys reputation.
So a tick for Colin and its not going to be long before the identity of the test you are manufacturing will be disclosed.
That will be REAL news!

Re ODX nothing there that wasn't RNS'd on 11 Feb though if they spike over 100 good luck to them.

It would be interesting to know the context of your request.
I surmise you are not a holder of any Covid share atm (or maybe just a punt) based on what appear to be unresearched views on Covid testing prospects.
You are certainly unresearched re AVCT.

I think the consensus on this board Jenkoo would be that indeed it is a good time to jump on board.
If you don't do it now then its likely you will pay more but you will still imo have plenty of opportunity to "bag"
I am a fan of not encouraging folk to jump in purely because of FOMO so you will probably want to make sure that you are at least a little researched before making a substantial investment (as opposed to a punt) but imo don't take too lomg to make your mind up.

Point is upsidedownowl is it possible from a cost, infrastructure (manpower and equipment) and timescale perspective to carry out nasopharyngeal tests over and over again on every child in the land?
And if it were is there a risk if you used PCR there could (dare I say it) be unneccesary false positives returned from folk who had the virus but were no longer infectious?

The specificity of the lft's is relevant because there are obvious socio economic reasons for not forcing people with false positives to isolate unneccesarily.
The sensitivity of the main lft so far (Innova) is of course pants however if it picks up 50% of the infections in a cohort of asymptomatic kids who would not otherwise be tested it is still better than nothing presumably.
