Obviously the testing emphasis well and truly now for asymptomatic people now.
It has of course been moving that way for months.
So re validation procedures CT numbers of the PCR control group matter.
Maybe Mologic Innova Roche et al are reliable at diagnosing symptomatic folk with good accuracy under lab conditions so as to enable them to advertise as they do with a clear conscience.
But there is only one LFT surely to test the asymptomatic masses!
It must be us!

Anyone who has ever been in a real forum for debate whether it be a courtroom or a committee meeting or watching the houses of Parliament or whatever knows that if you enter the debate there with half baked arguments or even worse with agendas you get very short shrift!
We are actually remarkably tolerant to numpties. They are lucky to be getting semi polite responses from us. That's even when they are in being some cases openly antagonistic or in others wilfully obtuse.
You don't have to be an AVCT supporter to be here but if you are the opposite expect "pelters" as they would say in my neck of the woods (just like I would expect (and have received) on other boards).
We get very tribal and confirmation bias is rife everywhere (apart from here where the apparent bias is absolutely justified;))

Down beat RNS from ABDX is all the starker when juxtaposed with the huge current increase in their staffing (thanks Muck).
I'd say its definitely us.
The government seem to be biting off their own nose to spite their face.
That's two listed diagnostic companies we know of NCYT and ABDX who have contractual issues with them.
AS doing well imo not to risk being beholden to them.

Innova have only passed 3A of porton Down in September of last year.
They still needed emergency use authorisation from MHRA in December which now appears to be no longer current.

Innova no longer on exceptional use list either

Whether or not Porton Down are still directly involved in evaluating our test for "Sovereign use" is unclear.
Maybe alternative more appropriate arrangements have been agreed between AVCT and the government.
IMO its likely that these arrangements are or are on the point of being finalised.
No one is letting on (NDA)

Great posting everyone and what a great RNS it was wasn't it.
OK the share price didn't catapult upwards as some may have hoped but I think most of us know it's just a matter of time.
What a mouthwatering couple of months we have in front of us.
The RNS as we know told us the clinical validation was carried out in "Europe". The commercial rollout referred to therein will take place in "Europe".
It's obvious when you read the whole RNS and also in the context of the whole RNS record that a distinction is being made between "Europe" and Britain and that the RNS has nothing to say about the progress of commercialisation of our LFT in Britain.
So you choose which conclusion to draw...………...
Either we are ignoring Britain completely (obviously not)
or there is some reason that we have not been sharing our plans for Britain (can only be a government NDA and an arrangement whereby we grant the government exclusivity of our test in Britain for a given period).
…..all of which makes Boris press briefing (unknown agenda) for this afternoon mildly interesting!

Whatever our respective levels of happiness may be we have each of us made our own investment decisions.
They have been as a result of our own research.
We must learn to trust our own research rather than try to make ourselves feel better by undermining others.

Re Communication
Would anyone care to name an AIM company with better communication than AVCT?

A Ceo has the job of making major operational decisions liasing between the board and the rest of the company developing corporate strategy having a set of corporate aims and developing the corporate culture to achieve those AIMS.
Oh...... and if he's good at it being the corporate face to outsiders.
What a CEO should not concentrate on is satisfying the unreasonable demands of whingeing shareholders who should know better (and an inordinate % of whom end up on the LSE boards)
