Thing is there are hundreds of other antigen tests on the market or on the way.
And why wouldn't there be?
Its very hard to think of a commodity that is more in demand.
It seems that we are the best.
But even if we weren't it really wouldn't matter one little bit.
Which is why it is mildly irritating when folk turn up with a link and no commentary saying what about this test what about that one.
No one in any event is likely to have disclosed the wealth of information about their test that AVCT have and headline figures mean nothing without full knowledge of the parameters used to achieve them.

Agree with what appears to be the prevailing thought that HMG is not the be all and end all for us as it may be for instance for ODX.
The consequential risk of our margins being screwed is therefor not a factor for us as it is for them (and anyone who just relies on one main customer).
We on the other hand are talking about selling to government(s) and health service(s) at our mid single digit price (albeit the "dripping Roast" is Private Companies).

You seemed slightly miffed davidpqz that your post bringing up two other tests had originally been "studiously ignored".
Thing is that those of us who are researched are confident that no other fast antigen tests rival ours.
We know that the reason that our test zeros in on the spike protein rather than the nucleocapsid thingie is that the former avenue is potentially the most sensitive route. And the Company have told us that that as far as they are aware our test is the best rapid spike protein antigen test around.
The reason?
We have affimers they don't.
So when you post as you did yesterday or people like Merchant Banker/Okehurst big up the Vatic test on the ODX site (as they did yesterday) we no longer feel the need to furiously research and respond (although I note the polite replies you received from Vegas and Slinkey).

Most of the diagnostics test producers have an ELISA test and this is a distribution contract for the Mologic antibody one which they have given ODX the right to.
As far as I understand it the forte of ELISA tests is for research purposes (see the last sentence of the RNS)

imo Cavity the answer to your capacity question is that the Government have a huge capacity infrastructure lined up (or being finalised) to make the British LFT Tests.
At the moment although we have had little clues all we see is the tip of the iceberg.
ATM I think the government psychologists have been telling the Government to hang back on the big Operation Moonshot "Reveal" so as not to detract from the minds of the public and the Press who they think can only deal with one big message at a time.
Interesting though that even in this mornings media the narrative seems to be changing.

Imo Kjs is one of the first fruits of many like him(or her) who will in good faith want to know more about our company prior to investing.
The normal standard of research that is able to be carried out on a company like ours if you are already more committed elsewhere is not good (witness some daft comments about us on other boards).
There's just not enough time to fully research and keep up to date with more than a two or three companies at most unless you are a professional investor imo.
Which brings me to my title.
Most of us on here are arses (including me).
Some are kind funny eloquent. Some the reverse.
Many albeit they are arses are incredibly well researched.
However they don't hold a candle to our brainy medics and scientists (with whom our Board is amazingly well endowed).
Me being an arse I don't find it easy to grasp some of what they say but it gives me a nice fuzzy feeling when they post.
Then we have our professional investors.
If you are an arse you will either despise or worship them.
I fall into the latter category.
It was reading Myles McNulties "Thesises" last spring that led me to make my first significant investment here.
Otherwise I suspect I wouldn't be here.

For me the valuation of our company when contracts become known will not directly correlate to any kind of mathematical equation you can do whereby factors like profit per test amount of tests sold and P/E numbers are input and out comes the answer.
That may be more relevant for NCYT or ODX.
For us just consider that every hundred million added to the bank is going to mean other drug candidates being pursued faster, more waves being made in the industry, more and more publicity, more takeover talk meaning of course all bets off re valuations.
This is not pie in the sky talk imo.
This is likely to happen.
