A CEO selling shares at tax year end or at any other permitted time is nothing. This is AIM. The only reason you should be here is because you have invested in the promise of the product. I have speculated that that product may succeed and that my investment will be rewarded. I’m a grown up and it’s my risk to take. I like to see others succeed too.

Trevor is a very active CEO and he likes to manage his money. It’s his to do so within the rules. He has not ‘sold out’. We do not know the intricacies of why. But I do know it’s not because the product doesn’t or won’t work - that’s science.

I would have preferred TB didn’t sell shares at this time just because it created this idiot confetti today but I’m grown up enough to know that he could.

Sorry goldtrig but recruiting a short term contract research assistant does not dictate the timeline for this project. It’s positive evidence of intent and progress and the only interesting piece of information to appear on this board since last Friday.

So this is a for a research assistant. An addition to the team. Means the work is well underway and they are expanding the team. Honestly I think 30th June is very close and suggests they are well on the way to developing a commercial solution. It usually takes years to go from proven science in the lab to a marketable product. The term of the contract does not suggest to me that news of a commercial product would have to wait until end June.

Suggests to me development of further products related to fluorescence detection solutions. But we shouldn’t speculate on that based on a new role being available. We know that’s what Paraytec do. Wish I was qualified!

wetdream - 2k per treatment sounds like a lot until we consider the cost of hospital treatment which is many many times more than that. So it prevents progress of the illness and also reduces overall treatment costs when delivered at home.

Agreed. Big potential if this can be commercialised. My baby daughter was kept in hospital in a specialist ward for suspected sepsis. She did not have sepsis and was only kept in because of the risk that it could have been sepsis - she was OK. Hospital stay would have been dramatically shortened not to mention the benefits of early treatment and reducing worry.

If this test works and has market value (if it does what Mr Smythe says) then one way or another BRH will make money by owning or selling the company.

TB already held more than 20% of the shares in the company. he has increased his total by about 10%. His contract of employment gives him share options - as is completely standard for a CEO. No material change here.

If anything the fact that he has decided to exercise options now shows confidence. Why would he exercise them now if he didn’t think they would increase in value?

Sometimes you have to step back and look at new news from a different perspective. If this RNS was just to state that a new 2 minute test for Sepsis had been developed what would that mean. Read the RNS.

If you thought you were getting an RNS today that had all the bells and whistles ready to go with a 5 minute COVID test at market in March then..... well that’s straight forward casino stuff. I don’t have a problem with that if it works occasionally for you.

What we have is a product that works, that is differentiated positively from the market. That other pharma firms want.

No idea what the share price will do today but I will hold.

Commissioning and production are not separated by a decisive dividing line. Commissioning can cover all aspects of production including speeding up a machine that has demonstrated capability to produce a certified product through to training of new staff and operations. Masks can be produced for market during commissioning.

To note that he big RNS stated that production can now start so they are producing masks, albeit at a slower than anticipated rate.

Twitter is for the birds. Should have listened to Shouston yesterday instead of hurling insults. Shouston was spot on. CE mark doesn't matter now. Certification is a given - it's just a mask.

It is hard to clarify order fulfilment until production volume is understood. Most products are not launched with this amount of scrutiny. RMS will be doing a lot of customer management, sending out samples and trying to keep prospective buyers happy whilst probably not being able to state exactly how many masks they can provide. Sorting that out will provide the data for the next meaningful RNS - orders and projected income. Imagine providing an RNS saying they sold x amount and then realising they couldn't fulfil that order down the line...

He clearly knows his stuff and is one of the reasons I invested here. But you have to wonder why he engages with some for those nutters that don't understand science..... thick as mince they are! Maybe he enjoys it.

The primary issue here is that a whole load of 'very new to investing' people loaded up on the back of what seemed like 'can't lose' logic. But manufacturing is hard if you haven't done it before and so is marketing/sales. Nothing is ever guaranteed.

However if the product is good and has a market this share will work out. Both big if's. There are no shares you can buy in AIM where there is any certainty. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not someone you should listen to. If orders are fulfilled that match production levels it will send a very very positive message to the market.

Shareholders are as much to blame. Screaming and moaning every time it doesn't go our way isn't doing the company or it's prospects any good. A good proportion of yesterday overreaction in the share price is down to that, Yesterday I saw comments like 'I have waited 3 months' or 'surely you can just switch the machine on.....'. How about 3 years investing in a stock for return? What makes anyone think 3 months is a sound risk reward strategy?

However. Every time I read the RNS I find it better. It is the most open and honest yet. There are prospects now that the product is being manufactured. The BOD is looking across other prospects. Wait and see or sell and move on, it's up to all of us to own our decisions - Not RMS.

I sold half yesterday. I might put that back if the opportunity arises - would need to fall a bit more. My risk appetite for this stock has changed but it's not over I think. I'm no expert - luck is your very biggest input to this process.

There are many moving parts here if the commissioning is done. They would need to contact all potential interested parties re orders and decide how to prioritise customers - a nice problem to have I think - or even confirm if potential customers are still interested. Difficult to take a cut of info at a point in time and describe it for the RNS. No point just saying commissioning is done if no order book to provide substance.

Of course another delay would be easy to describe so I'm more encouraged an RNS didn't on Monday.
