Like it. I think the drill team is all done so it's just arrival of the mysterious 'long lead time' items needed before announcing spud date.

I wonder what the long lead time items are? Science equipment? Cake?

In truth no CEO can answer that question outside of an RNS. So for me it was more about how they managed the placing itself and got to the point of doing it late in the day and I think left it too late. They could have got that away at 8p IMHO. I don't think the SP fall was an indication of the placing being forward sold as much as the SP fall forced HE1s hands to do something. Maybe a bit of both in the end.

I'm now also retrospectively and conveniently pleased that the raise is out of the way.

The biggest benefit of the rig is that we own the rig and that reduces drill costs going forwards.

However becoming a drill operator is a different proposition. When a mining company hires a drill they expect the crew and the maintenance on the drill to be provided as pat of the package. It can be done but might be outside of what can reasonably be expected.

If I was Lorna I would wait until I have a spud date and then do an interview.

However. Plenty of opportunity to buy shares this morning at close to the placing price. This was also true last time.

Main thing for me now is the placing is done already. Nothing to anchor this to 6p.

I expect the NOMAD told HE1 to get the placing done before they issued a SPUD RNS. The speed of this tells me next important news is very close. They simply could not be permitted to try to raise too close to spud.

I thought the placing shares had all been forward sold.....

Have seen many placings and whilst the SP is always held at the placing price whilst the placing is taking place it practically never has much impact after that , especially is news comes along.

Don't forget we had a placing not that long ago for 5p and the SP has been at 10p since then. That without amazing news.

I give up predicting what happens with AIM SPs nowadays but this is something of a stock market darling share right now There is plenty of interest in this going into spud. Let's see.

A lot depends on those high net worth investors. Are they flippers or keepers!

Wyndrum. Not aimed at you as such but to those fearing a raise right now. If a raise RNS pops up in the morning, how much do you think it would be for and think about what percentage of the market cap that would be.

Immaterial. Worry about a raise after the drill. Worry about what that looks like if the current project fails. Fair enough but for this cycle - seems we wiped about £30m of the market cap for nothing to me.

Buyer volume much improved today. Bodes well. Starting to get closer to spud and the market interest will grow now.

If a few million raise was announced tomorrow..... what does that mean as a material impact on the sp? Somehow not worth the worry. Less than 5% of the market cap even at these levels. In any case the selling started nearer 10p so makes no sense whatsoever. It's now been too long since that for that not to have been RNS's as a raise by now.
