Forward selling is legal but there is regulatory nuance to that. All parties need to have a contingency plan for e.g. if the placing doesn't happen because of whatever reason. Whilst it seems bonkers that this is legal those parties need to show they have the funds to survive an unsatisfactory outcome and prevent a irregular market. In fact there has been an instance of forward selling being non compliant (can't remember which company it was - think it was mining though and they forward sold and then the company didnt get permission to complete the placing).

Also, if it's a placing. Where is the RNS by now? Surely we would have had it by now. Do we think the NOMAD would allow this to go on for a week and more before announcing it to market? I don't.

And...... it would destroy the reputation of the company to do so at this time. You could imagine a small placing towards the end of drilling (if it was obvious more funding is needed to complete the current project) but now? After the RNS and presentation? Before the drill starts? Nuts to that.

No1 plasterer. Any outstanding item is enough to spook or to encourage the de rampers to spook.

Market is different to 2021 now. Comparing apples and pears. The window for interest is shorter but it doesn't mean there isn't any interest. We know there is interest because only a few weeks ago the SP shot up 50% because we secured a drill. There will be plenty of interest when the drill starts to spin.

If I was stalker and wanted to get the best value out of selling my shares (if I was allowed to do so now) I would sell them in trades less than £50 over a number of weeks. That way I'm going to get a better price for my shares.

Must admit that when the selling started I though Stalker must be the most likely candidate but having seen the impact that the selling had on the SP I can't see why he would sell like that and destroy so much potential for profit.

InvestingGoals. If you want to turn 5p shares into profit you don't sell them in 500k chunks that pull down the SP. You would approach this in a much more nuanced way and make a lot more money.

Its not iffy. There has been a trader with a big holding. They have been selling in large chunks to drive down the sp (mm's then drop the sp to encourage more buys so they can get rid - mm's never hold stocks for any length of time and will do all they can to get rid in a trading day).

Same trader has then been buying the stock back at lower prices. This was certainly possible last week as buy volume dried right up and the trader saw the opportunity. If there isn't enough buy volume then nothing is stopping someone buying back at lower prices - very risky but it worked on this occasion and often after an RNS/presentation where the market gets wind of a delay or significant gap to next news (in this case 4-6 weeks) buying dries up.

Looks ugly on the sp but ultimately it's a strategy to churn a holding to reduce the average. I'm sure most of us have done it but it's riskier for most of us because we can't drive the sp down deliberately by chucking a few million shares at the exchange.

Nothing to do with the company or the drill. As I wrote yesterday, this trader sees the shares as a commodity in themselves and they are positioning for a bigger rise going into spud.

Dumb question as I think it should be more obvious or it could just be me but do we know when drilling is actually happening or are we waiting for an imminent RNS on that? I get that the drill cores then have to go to the lab and we wait for all that but I can't figure if mobilising the rig to Cottlesoe means it already on site or what.

A lot of positioning going on. For me it's clear I would want to have enough invested for results to either win big or lose it all. That means profit taking where it makes sense to but it doesn't mean selling entirely. I'm as confident as I can be for this type of venture and that means I am investing funds I can afford to lose.

I guarantee that whatever has been happening with the recent selling that trader or traders still have a position going forwards.

Some of the posters on this board act like they think HE1 could put heads on both sides of a coin before tossing it.

I think we will be pleasantly surprised when the SP lifts as we get very close to spud and after that the usual dynamics will occur. Buying volume will be way up. SP movement on a day is way more to do with liquidity in the moment that all of the angst currently being discussed. It can move very fast indeed.

I think people need to realise that traders treat the shares as a commodity in themselves. If you hold a lot of shares you can sell a chunk and drive the SP down. mm's won't take a huge chunk of shares unless they know they can sell them on, they reduce the sp to get more buys so they can pass them on. Our big seller knows this and saw the low volume after the presentation and acted accordingly. They have been buying them back at lower prices.

This will stop when buying volume is higher. Need to be closer to spud for that to happen. Honestly I take my hat off to whoever has done this, they likely hold the same number of shares they started with. It has nothing to do with the chances of success for the drill. IMHO

It's also at least 2 weeks to spud. Spud will make a difference but it's still too far off do drive the sp today.

Todays RNS was good. Expect more of the same. LB has completely taken on board the need to keep us updated.

Mm's do not control the market outcomes. They create a market by raising the ask/bid to create liquidity. They haven't walked anything down. It's a popular conspiracy theory but it isn't fact.

The SP is down because an investor or several investors have decided to take specific action. We all have our reasons to invest/trade which suits our objectives and attitude to risk and this isn't any different. If yo own a lot of shares you can make a big difference to the market.

Would be great if we have a Major buyer. Where are you seeing this though? I don't see any upward pressure on the SP right now. Why do you think its been in auction?

Someone just bought £47k worth at 2p. There was a £30k buy earlier too.

Last time we had volume on the AQUIS exchange we got a big spike in the SP.

May be nothing but haven't seen trades that size for an age.

Maybe but needs volume to get the SP moving. That should come as we get closer to spud.

... and to be clear - if they need funds to complete this current investment cycle they absolutely should raise funds when it is opportunistic to do so. I do not want to see an RNS stating that they think they have a commercial helium discovery but will just leave it in the ground so as not to annoy shareholders by diluting the SP.
