I do agree that AIM is like the wild west in general.

At lease once we spud we find other things to be childish about.

Spud could be any moment now or next week or the week after. We are certainly in the zone. I wonder what terms they have with the drill crew - are they on standby or a fixed schedule.

I also think the so called 'long lead time items' are holding back the SP. It's something that's been specifically referred to in RNS so feels like this has it's own story. Would be good to get that done but if I was HE1 I would RNS spud at the same time.

120k for director of a listed company is really very small beer.

If you work for a listed company chances are you have access to various share schemes that incentivise performance. I do and frankly without that I'll be leaving.

It is what it is. Nothing unique here. They really don't get much in terms of salary as Directors. So why would they bother if they couldn't get rewarded in this way. It's win win because they need to put a shift in to realise the value of those options. Getting an AIM company to a place where it is a profitable commercial concern is hard yards. They deserve it if they make it happen.

Nobody will care if this is a success and all of us including the BOD make money on the SP. If it isn't a success then nobody makes any money.

I cannot see any reason to be concerned about these warrants that incentivise success.

I take the appointment of the new Director as a positive sign as its a forward looking appointment based on the success scenario.

I think that you would find that DM's spin machine followed by failure is the reason for caution this time around.

Well the CEO hasn't been in post for very long. When would you suggest they should have bought? Do you think there has been a clear opportunity to buy shares as an insider that the NOMAD would have supported or do you think the NOMAD would have suggested that the share options were less likely to receive the level of scrutiny?

I honestly don't the you have a clue and it's just another de ramper mantra - 'oh look the CEO doesnt have many shares'!!!.

Maybe she's broke? Maybe she hasn't had the salaries yet to afford to buy lots of shares. Maybe she doesnt buy shares. Jeez

Assuming success the first drill will be capped and made safe and gas samples will go to the lab. The science bit will take time and is done by an independent lab. Whilst this is happening HE1 will drill the second well.

What happens then depends on what the lab tells us about the helium/purity etc. Flow testing will be part of the plan post the second drill.

If the first drill is a success then that will become a new plan on how to take that forward. Needs some planning. It's hard to gauge what success means ahead of time as it's not binary - there is a whole range of success and also almost success that will require bespoke plans.

Daven66. There will be some who short the stock hoping for a further fall. I suppose if HE1 announced a delay at this point that could happen. Seems less likely than ever to me so big risk to short it from here, but some will be focussed on the 'long lead time items' that HE1 said would arrive on site this week.

They released a slide pack for investors yesterday that covered the stuff you say they haven't told us about.....

I wonder if the NOMAD told them they had to get the placing finished before next material news. It has been a fast placing and makes me wonder if we get an RNS on spud/spud date when it's finished.

Placing is completed on Friday I believe.

The placing is not completed. Nobody wants to pay a premium price when there are placement shares yet to join the market.

It's a good time to buy IMHO. Usual manage your own risk caveats apply.

Yes that spud looks like its right in the middle of September. It's 18th September for me. They were in a hurry to get the placing done before they can announce spud. No way could they spud with the placing still open.

Long lead time items is the only concern. Should drive this week.
