LB said that long lead time items are expected on site during the second week of September. So this week. This week is far from over so it's hardly surprising they haven't provided an update on that.

I'm sorry Obstanto but that's how you see it. I work for a company where i have access to various share schemes and I can tell you that the options I have are important to me and I make plans on them based on a success scenario - my family doesnt do so well if it doesnt go well I see it as part of my overall reward package and it's an incentive for me to support the company in doing well. It's simply not true that they do not represent skin in the game. Just because you bought your shares on the open market doesnt negate the value of those that anybody has in hand for whatever reason.

IMHO they probably haven't been able to agree a time to buy shares on the open market with the nomad anyway so the only way they can get shares is through this type of arrangement. It is a very standard call.

It's absolutely a healthy sign that the BOD gets these options. I can't imagine any of you would refuse them if you worked for HE1. It's not a hobby!!!

Moving on. I would think that they had to get all of this news including the options and the placing et al out of the way before announcing spud date/spud itself. So signs now good that the drill is very close now. Get the placing landed on Friday and then it's game on.

Yep it's a standard share scheme. Completely above board. Every listed company does it.

As an investor I seek opportunity to invest to make money - all of the risk is financial and I do absolutely nothing in terms of effort to deliver any profit - the company does all of the work. As an employee I expect to get rewarded for my efforts. Amybody here got a drill site set up in Africa recently? Thought not Simple.

We can all buy shares for less than 6.6p right now if we have funds?

I find it incredible that people think that the members of a BOD for a listed company wouldn't expect to be rewarded for the work they do. I get shares as part of my overall employment package and I reckon I deserve them and sometimes that happens when the SP is lower and absolutely I take advantage of that. This really is a very ordinary process.

We want HE1 to succeed because that will make us money. Having an invested BOD is a good thing. Retains experience and makes HE1 a more attractive proposition for future employees. This feels like another - if you don't like AIM then why are you invested in AIM - for some.

It's true that he SP isn't going to do much until after the placing shares land. May as well wait it out until then.

If people think 6.6p is too much of a bargain then I suggest you buy some now if you can afford too and like the risk appetite.

I'll be more than happy to see the BOD do well out of this because it will likely mean that I do well out of it.

It seems very standard practice to me. i'm glad to see they have some skin in the game. I realise it's a great price but it still carries risk.

I honestly can't see how the PR is being controlled. We are getting frequent enough updates unless we want some sort of gala opening of the drill programme with members of the board dancing and making animals out of balloons.

Won't go below placing price before drill results. Maybe if there was a drill delay from where we are right now. The SP is being anchored to the placing. I hadn't appreciated that the placing shares don't hit the market until Friday.

UnicornHunter - re placing shares are 15th September. Is that right? I was under the impression that the placing shares were already in the market but must admit I couldn't find anything to confirm when they entered.

It's factual for any given drill. SO why post it here. It sounds like you just don't think drilling is worth the risk full stop.

AIM companies raise fund all of the time and yet they do not remain anchored to the placing price. Granted we need additional news but I wouldn't bet against this getting a serious lift on spud. Nobody knows for sure but if you can think of a single drill ever that didnt have the chance of being a duster then we can argue whether your post was stupid or not.

It's easy & maybe a bit too convenient to refer only to situations when the SP didnt more ahead of or at spud.

UKOG did not meet this trend. Doubled. Which to me was bonkers but hey ho.

So saying this will be the same as x & y experience really misses the point to me. This is a very significant drill in AIM and there has been a lot of interest in buying the shares. History tells us that placings tend to anchor the SP for a while but in this case the placing is already over and we have a drill imminent - maybe even next week.

Strong volume again this morning and it's not because folks think the sp is going to hand around at 6p forever.

And so ends all investment in mining exploration companies all over the world. There will no longer be any investment ever again and the world will return to the stone age. Lovely.

Come on folks. You can't blame anyone else for your investment decisions but yourself.

You can't expect the SP to break out less than 2 days after a fund raise. The good news however is that history shows us (and not just HE1) that the SP does not have to stay anchored to 6p for long.

Yes the de risking situation has changed for me too. It's not a fun place this board at the moment but that can and likely will change very quickly.

In this market we need to be closer to the big event, it's not like 2021. However there really isnt anything like this in AIM right now.

Ironically I expect I'll have to de risk a bit earlier and with less profit but I will now leave more in for results. The second drill changes the risk profile for the first drill somewhat. We will also see Noble shouting very loudly abut what they find and that may impact sentiment over here too. So a lot of volatility but don't see the period between spud and results as the only exit point any more.

I will leave some for long term too.

You only lose money if you sell your shares for less than you bought them. Granted some will have higher averages and things might not feel great after the sp fall and the fund raise but in reality this is now the most de risked it has ever been.

Forget the noise. At least wait until spud to see what sentiment looks like. This drill is a very big deal on AIM and lots of interested punters will be keeping a close eye on this coming up to spud. There will be buyer volume IMHO. It's clearly a very risky investment and I hope everyone understands that. It's also a very significant opportunity if you can afford the risk.

Nah. Everything points to huge interest in this stock. It will shift.

Not sure mudflows are sexy enough. Need to come up with more exciting descriptions like 'helium mousse'
