Confidence doesnt change the nature of what is in the ground. I hope they are right but this comparison of the noble v HE1 approach to confidence is irrelevant for me. Look at the volume - the relative interest in the two companies.

Just focus on HE1. Noble will have to go through all of the same regulatory science stuff as HE1 before announcing a discovery. They are not going to do it 2 mins after spudding.

The temptation to report helium shows on the way down has been mitigated by the comms from HE1. Todays RNS tells us not to expect them to report on that and Lorna has discussed testing and the importance of following the science before jumping to conclusions.

Now if there are helium shows over the next couple of weeks people on site will certainly know. So if it's significant there is a n argument that they should report it..... because someone could use that info ..... but i think they are trying hard to go down the follow the protocol and the science.

Honestly I think we will see a pump on this share soon. It's been traded low v the placement and there has been good money going into buying at these levels. It isn't in anyones interest to keep it down here. Someone with a big position is going to buy 4/5 big trades to pump this. Predictably so IMHO.

The SP at the time this was reported was way lower than 6.3. So it looks like a late reported trade (even though it hasn't been logged as such, But something off exchange for sure.

Actually it may have been mis reported as the day chart logged it as 6.05.

In any case we will never know if it's a buy or a sell but it is consistent with later reported trades for the last 4/4 trading days. with a few 1m/2m trades just above the mid price.

Legalwolf. Todays RNS was very clear that the next update will be to confirm target depth reached. Whilst they could disclose some additional details at this point anyone having a go because they haven't declared any helium shows before then just can't read.

The RNS does stay that a further announcement will be made when the drill reaches target depth. So that's 2 weeks. They could add more info then which could include helium shows or any other encouraging messaging.....

The RNS was great but it can also be read as a delay to next news. No updates now until target depth reached....

So basically even with the drill moving nobody needs to invest until a week Friday unless the SP starts to move ahead of that (which it could but would suggest not yet). There is no possibility of on an RNS updating on progress (?) and there is no chance of RNS about helium shows ahead of the RNS for target depth being reached. They could include observations for the RNS on target depth.

This is money doesn’t know if they are buys or sells. The only way you can guess is where the trade sits in the spread at the time but even then you can’t be sure. I thought it sat just above the mid point so likely a buy but we will never know unless the individual who placed it tells us.

It isn't the same drill. They have better equipment this time to handle the conditions.

The equipment used for the last drill was quite specifically unable to handle the conditions and this was a tangible reason for failure. It had nothing to do with whether or not there is a commercial helium cache to be found and that remains entirely possible.

You don't seem to be very well researched on the drill plan. The different type of drill. The lessons learned from last time. All of which have been clearly articulated by HE1. Of course you can have your doubts which is very sensible but your constant mewing is just a very obvious attempt to sow negativity on the board.

It is entirely possible to know the risk and be positive about it. For grown ups at least.

It's a 2 week drill followed by 2 weeks science / lab work. In the real world things can and do happen that vary from the plan.

People can exaggerate certain aspects if they want to if it suits the aims that they have, but most of us will be focussed on the very real possibility of spud any moment now.

Wyndrum. I agree that spud sp rises are less of an impact than they have been in the past in general. Remains to be seen in the case of HE1 as it is quite a unique opportunity - not just another gold or oil drill.

I note that WSBN announced spud yesterday and got 30% increase for a while. So there is still potential and market for that.

I think that if you RNS specifically that something is awaiting completion before you can spud then the market is going to notice that when it isn't being wrapped up.

So the long lead time items not helping. If you RNS that they are a dependency and then that they are arriving by a certain time then frankly you should RNS or at the very least tweet when they have arrived. They haven't so the market speculates a delay.

Personally not concerned but the market loves certainty and the traders love uncertainty and certainty. This all creates a market where it feels like it's OK to wait longer before committing.

I remain of the view that he we could get spud RNS any day or we may get an operational update with the spud date before that.

If they RNS a delay I'll just wait. It is what it is. I made the decision to invest on the basis that they would eventually drill again at Tai that it sooooo long ago. In any case I expect we will be spudding very soon now.

Yes a buy. It was interesting over the last few weeks when folks were suggesting large late reported trades were buys when they were clearly sells and you could see the SP ratchet down immediately afterwards.

But yes that 2m trade is a buy.......

Why do you think that LB has $1m to spare to risk on success. Even if the chances of success were say 50%, would that be something she should od? Does she have family? Responsibilities?

I can't believe anyone thinks it's that relevant. I rarely have the funds to invest in the surest things (they often turn out not to be sure things). Clearly those BOD members who have invested in the past could afford to do so and that includes the risk.

Maybe Noble director is more of a gambling man. Honestly I have seen directors buy shares to get the sp up and then see abject failure. It means very little in AIM.

It could be any day now. We are all guessing but we are certainly in the zone now.

LOL. I sold my WSBN and brought the money over here a few weeks ago - at 6.7p.

I think there is quite a wait until WSBN sees any evidence from it's drilling so looks kinda spike to me today. Will go back in later - only if it comes down again.

Really sticks in my craw when folk blah about getting it right or wrong. Childish.

Lot's of us were wrong about the placing timing. Nobody is Mystic Meg. But the idea that we all lost out if we didnt sell may turn out to be pretty poor forecasting. Some of us also bought over the period and reduced averages. Just because circumstances didnt turn out as some predicted didnt mean everyone sat on there hands sulking.

Also - anyone blaming someone else for influencing an investing decision needs to grow up. Own it. You did it.
