Not worth the risk. Even if they are confident that the well is clear. Imagine if we got an RNS saying they lost the very expensive wire logging gear down the well when they didnt need to. They haven't reached any of the target zones yet so no benefit v that risk.

Ask yourself whether you would do that and what it would take to motivate yourself to do that? The answer has to be that they are trying to buy in at a lower price. They always say that's not the case but it's either that or they are mad.

It is very annoying but if you think about it, getting in at a lower price makes complete sense as an objective. I honestly don't think they do have any impact on the sp.

Legalwolf. HAve you ever owned a car? They break down. Sometimes it's preventable and sometimes its something not as expected.

Over analysing the specific issue isnt worth your time. They will fix this and continue to drill. You cannot predict whether another issue will occur and I expect they have mitigated everything they can without having to buy an entire second rig for parts.

If they said at spud that the drill to TD would take up to 4 weeks nobody would have blinked.

Mechanical failures happen. Wish it hadn't but this issue is not going to impact the chances of success.

I note that Lorna said that before the drill stopped they were on track to reach target depth this weekend. SO it seems the next drill phase is to drill right the way through to target depth and pretty quick too. Suggest drilling is easier after the 'lake bed'.

They were about to drill into the target zones so they haven't reached any of the potential helium shows yet.

Broken part is to do with the engine/transmission. They know what it is and are sourcing part. 2 weeks is on the outside and hope they will be up and running again before that.

They spent hours overnight isolating the issue to be sure they knew why the drill wasn't working. I'm glad they waited for some certainty before issuing the RNS. The first thing they would have tried is to fix onsite.

Louis. They just raised for this drill and the next one. Why do you think there is another raise at 3p because of a slight delay?

Growmorecash. This is not the same drill and the geology is different. Or they may not have checked for helium yet.... it isnt about finding shows where Dave did even though it would be nice.

And yet the drill issue is above ground and so easy to access and resolve with the right parts. Interestingly the well is being fitted with the 13 3/8 casing so we are likely well below the levels achieved by Dave Minchin in 2021. Much progress has been made so when the drill starts spinning again we are close to TD and news.

To be fair, insiders are not winning either.... Unless we find helium of course. The volume of shares bought under current levels since the companies inception is very low.

The outcome - helium discovery - is the only thing that matters and it will make EVERYONE happy if it does. Why else did anyone invest?

If people feel disgruntled because they didnt make the money they wanted by the time they wanted to then be reminded that investing is not for you. This is not work. You are not doing work that you get paid for. We are all speculative investors and that means there will be more bad times than good. When it goes well you probably didnt have to lift a finger. Grow up, make your choices and be objective about the risk.

There is no evidence that the problem with the drill was communicated to anyone outside of HE1 before the RNS. Yesterdays and this mornings trading didnt look any different to the usual. In fact this morning the sells were somewhat smaller than they have been.

Suck this up. you decided to invest in this and nobody told you it was a sure thing. A 2 week delay is a great outcome at this stage. Every day that passes on a high risk venture like this you risk walking away with nothing.

It really isnt a disaster and so I'm very relaxed about this. Drill repair so common and this one sounds very recoverable. Confident we get to TD in 2-3 weeks which is the whole point.

Did you see all the stop losses at 4p? Ouch. OK if you have decided to get out I suppose but if we get a comforting update from Lorna we are going back over 4.5.

I expect Lorna will provide an update of some sort. Even a twitter video would be great. I would like her to make sure the component is on the way first.
