I think they will RNS that they are up and running again.

Must admit I'm so tired of it all now that I would not mind if they didnt say a thing until TD was reached and the samples are at the lab.

Anything they RNS before results will get pulled to pieces anyway. LB must despair at how to say anything and not get the usual pile on.

Anyway, with the helium shows it would seem that the only piece of the jigsaw that we need is a viable and commercial trap. It does appear that additional depth being pursued for T3 is down to Lorna going for that. We should be excited about it.

It's possible that Noble reach TD before HE1 because the drilling itself is full of challenges. HE1 might get to TD without any more drill issues. Noble might have their own drill issues which we haven't seen yet?

I do think Noble will spin the message through the drill. If they are employing more informative approaches to the science analysis whilst drilling then we might get announcement about that before they reach TD. Wouldn't wire logging during drilling slow them down though?

When LB said in yesterdays interview: We will be finished with the T3 well mid next week. I took that to mean including the wire logging. So still ahead of Noble for drilling. I think if HE1 can get the drill up and running again today/tomorrow we will hit TD Friday or the weekend.

Anyway. Will be interesting to see what Noble comment on on the way down. I see noble as a bit like HE1 under Minchin so they are going to play with the positivity until they succeed or fail.

Market will want to know the drill is spinning again and certainly that it get's to target depth. It's quite an inflection point to meet that milestone. Not surprised it's quiet today.

When do we think for Red Setter assay results. RNS was 4-6 weeks on 12th October.

So 8th November earliest?

Watch out though. Traders like this stock and that's half the reason it moves between 1.8 and 2.4. These rises get sold off fairly quickly. I note news coming in the fairly short term but expect the SP to move back to below 2 before then. Just because it always seems to do that. If drill results were due this week it could be another story. WSBN have been far less rampy this year, especially since last year when they literally showed a shiny core sample around a bar and it was all over twitter.

I expect they were always going to RNS today and it would have been a TD RNS but for the drill fault.

They were likely going to include Helium shows in the TD RNS.

So really the only change has been this small delay (hopefully) to TD.

I get the sense that apart from 'we have helium shows' Lorna does not intend to try to quantify any helium without the lab work. So all as per expected today. Keeping cards close.

Seems to be the case that we see a pump on the AQUIS exchange that then get's mirrored on the LSE sometime later.

All very bizarre but astonishingly above board. Certainly worth keeping an eye on.

Sinquenon. I try to look for some basic 'shows' during these interview. Often a person who is withholding or not telling the truth in a negative way will look to the side when speaking about it. Just the eyes moving to look to the side is enough.

Not an expert but they are not the same. For HE1 they are sampling the mud (mud is specifically always circulated as part of drilling so the material they have to sample from is the mud). This means they cans see elevated HE1 shows (higher than normal background levels). I'm not sure if this type of sampling can deliver any more quantitative data than that.

Wireline is far more precise science and will happen after the well is completed and cased. I believe they can literally perforate the casing to sample the make up of gases at different depths, quality, availability etc.

I would not want to play LB at Poker. All good IMO.

I actually don't think they can tell anything about the amount of helium in the shows. Sounds like they literally only know that the amounts are above background levels at this stage? So they have an idea how much until wire logging.

There was a concerted effort this morning to get the sp down and some are disappointed it hasn't stayed down. All very normal on AIM.

I have filtered Joe80. If I needed someone to turn every datapoint into a negative I would hire Joe80 as my mood hoover. Also nobody likes a bragger which is what Joe80 is.

It looks to me that they hit the plan version of the target depth over the weekend. so no RNS possible until this morning. I expect we would have had an operational update that could have included TD reached. But that was overtaken by events on Sunday. In any case, we know what depth they are at.

TD is driven by the geology target not the estimates in the drill plan surely? Quite a semantic argument.

They could ditch this drill and move on of course. I think it says a lot that they haven’t.

'Stuff goes wrong'. It will be on my gravestone and it's the best advice I could ever give.

I guarantee that when the drill stopped working the HE1 team tried turning it off and on again. Works 90% of the time in all walks of life and with a squirt of WD40 the odds are even better.

They were unlucky that it was a busted thingjangle.
