Nobody has mentioned it yet but i have heard that all those on site photos are actually of very clever and detailed miniatures that Dave Minchin made on his desk. The actual depth of the drill (it all works perfectly but in miniature) is 150cm.

BigPlan. They have not yet tested the well. So this doesnt seem like insanity to me. Right now it is possible that the well has could prove a helium discovery. I think that's worth pursuing.

Could be any day now. Wasn't it 4-6 weeks from about 4 and a half weeks ago?

There is zero evidence that the problem is more severe than we have been told. I use the word evidence carefully because others do not seen to think it's important.

There you have it. A factual statement by an invested PI who has never worked on a drill rig in his life.

This does not mean this isnt going to be quite the rollercoaster for a while longer yet. But that's the risk. Fact is they have been able to drill to 1500m and have found helium glass which now needs to be assessed to quality the potential which we hope leads to an announced discovery.

Oh and by the way, if we have a discovery, the rollercoaster will continue, albeit from a higher base valuation. Isnt it fun!!

It would be HE1 form for them to RNS that wireline is completed as the next RNS. Can still be next week.

Yeah. It would either be an issue with torque or lift? If it's the rough neck itself it must surely be torque where the top half spins to unlock the pipes i.e. can't generate the power needed to turn & unlock the pipe connections? Or grip the pipes? But all of that could easily be down to a component failure - something fairly trivial? Or not. They do tend to RNS mechanical issues without diagnosing first. Maybe it's hard to diagnose this type of issue quickly.

Mjapac - its fairly easy to follow that if they have a hydraulic fault then that would result in a failure of torque of lift. It doesnt sound like a disaster to me as that can be fixed.

It really isnt plausible right now that they are running another placing in the background. All of the recent trading just looks like the exact volatility you would expect this close to results.

Thanks for this. Really helps to visualise what the iron rough neck does. It literally replaces the human process of attaching and detaching the pipes.

It's also remarkably quick in action when it does work.

What you cannot do in an audit is test the stress of drilling to 1500m in real life. In fact there is an expectation that these machines will fail and that parts will need to be replaced. There is no machine in the world that doesnt require maintenance and the laws of physics do not permit it.

IMHO yesterdays trading just looked like what you would expect after a couple of days significant rise and then profit taking. There were a scattering of 1m trades over the week and they looked like buys. So accumulation ahead of results. I cannot see any evidence of insider trading on the basis of anyone knowing that there are mechanical issues with the drill.

How are the wages any different regardless of whether there is a second drill or not. Sorry but it's not a very serious view smallish. I don't know anyone who runs a company on the basis that they don't expect to get paid. irrelevant. Its clear that the intention to progress Tai3 is in the best interests of shareholders and there is not a current reason to believe we won't have the second drill. If we discover at Tai3, who cares?

Small delay on well that’s been drilled for the potential of a discovery. Maybe the second drill still goes ahead, maybe they don’t need it.

They have been very clear about what the current issue is. Ridiculous conspiracy theories this morning. It’s a problem that can be fixed so now we wait. I will admit to being horrified to,see a red dot this morning, my fear being an issue with the well integrity but this is not so bad. IMO the only thing that matters is getting the wire logging done and I can wait a bit longer for that.

And the drill hasn’t been hanging around a yard recently. It just drilled 1500m. Stuff will happen.

OK. It charted as 1m but came through as 500k. Still, was a late reported buy. Nice trend. It just wasn't happening up until yesterday. Interest and volume is growing.
