You need to follow the likely legal position on the drill RNS's

NOMAD likely would not let HE1 say anything about the drill purchase on the Friday - why? - contract not signed. Imagine if they said they had bailed on the marmot drill and then put the drill purchase option on the table and then had to RNS they had failed in that too on the Monday? Not enough certainty to tell the market. To be fair they had made it clear all along that they had contingency options without being clear what they were.

Honestly it was almost to nuts to be deliberate. They absolutely had to RNS the issue with the drill hire because Noble had spilled the means.

Market wants to see the results in detail first. We have had assays before for red setter and they were not good enough. They did point to potential and the re targeting to a better focussed set of drills. It would be explosive if they were good.

I agree. Cannot see HE1 being involved in production. Takeover most likely.

I reckon all bets are off if they have a discovery. It's clear the market is struggling to believe in it and many heads will be wobbling if we get that. Its worth more than 20p IMHO but it might take a while for the market to wake up to that.

However, they cannot use the 'discovery' word without the independent lab results so I wonder how they will word the next RNS. I suppose they can specifically state the on site lab results in qualitative and quantitative terms and that would be enough.

Worse case is ambiguity. An RNS that says they are not sure and need to do more. Not sure how the market processes that. It seems fairly likely they may want to drill deeper on Tai3.

As with all of these opportunities the reality usually has some shades of grey. The absolute best case is some science that unambiguously points to a discovery that just needs lab verification. I think bids will follow. It's not like oil or other gas where there is a choice of fields and locations. Demand is huge and supply is limited.

Well it has been a while since I went to school but by my reckoning 6.03 is more than 6p. I'll take on anyone who wants to argue with me on that if they can escape from the village idiots convention for long enough.

Depends when Baker Hughes start. It says 'shortly' in the RNS. I don't think it takes more than a day or so once they start.

Note they had already done some preliminary logging which must have been encouraging enough to move to the more impressive testing kit.

Expect a pile on at the end of the day as we had yesterday. That's what we had for a few days before we had the rough neck issue. Very exciting going in to the weekend IMO.

Intraday swings to be expected as there is money to be made from day trading this.

I don't actually think there is a leak but certainly there is some anticipation of this maybe being a discovery.

If there was a leak to more than 2 or 3 people we would see this completely clogged up with buys very quickly. It's worth many multiples of this share price if a discovery with a clear road to production or takeover becomes apparent.

There was a massive leak this morning in the form of an RNS. Interest will grow ahead of those wireline results. IMO

No the share price didnt sky rocket.... yet. These are the sort of thread titles that don't look good with hindsight. I'm not suggesting I know it's going to shoot up but the proximity of wireline and on site lab results is exciting and could result in one of the biggest AIM RNS's of the year. So an interesting week ahead I think.

There is always some spillage into the bottom of the well. As the RNS states - not much in this case. It won't impact the wire logging. We already know one of the possible next steps is to drill further at T3.

Turns out the cake was a bit dry and solid. Probably for the best in these circumstances. Flaky moist cake and we would have been in trouble…

Covgaz. Sorry but why would they have a discovery in an RNS when they haven’t proven a discovery? Everyone knows this so what is your point exactly.

Seems to me that you are saying don’t invest in any oil and gas or mining company before a discovery as it’s just a gamble. Not sure anyone needs to be reminded of the risk.

I think most of us know what the risks are folks. Thanks for your care but we don't need it. Win or lose I'm comfortable with the position and the comms from HE1.
