HarChris, I was thinking the same. Whilst I took the director buys last week to be reassuring and a validation that holding was a good decision I also thought it ruled out any material updates appearing as this would be in conflict to directors buying.... hence my surprise this morning.

I’ve just done the same by emptying my account and topping up at 169 instead of 175. Have also topped up NCYT.

Now I have £0 in my account so HL can’t activate my open offer request I assume? Does anyone know when the offer becomes void so I can safely hold cash again without it getting taken for open offer?

I have topped up at 61.5 having sold the same shares at 65.8 a few days ago. Quite relieved as it had always been my plan to buy back in and when I saw results this morning I thought I was going to either get shut out or pay a premium. Good results.

How do we find out who bought the shares? E.g who is now our biggest shareholder?

I’m sorry but feel I need to intervene again... unless someone can give a really clear alternative view then all this tweet was talking about was SNG001 availability through the Clinigen tie up..... this is not some clandestine subplot which has cleverly been unveiled by board members here.... it was on an RNS (albeit without the dates) and that RNS was perhaps wrongly met with a muted response.

Since then everyone has got excited about a tweet from a French doctor....

I only dip in and out of this board so if I have missed some clear reason why that tweet and our tie up with Clinigen is not one and the same piece of news then my apologies and please let me know so I can stop wrongly correcting everyone.

When I read that French Tweet (which came out a day or 2 after the Clinigen announcement) I assumed the tweet was a doctor who now believed he could treat patients with SNG001 under the MAP that it now available with.

Is there a reason why others don’t think that was a doctor pleased a drug was now available through MAP?

Well I have sold half at 176. Will make sure I am back in by 4.30. I suspect I will be back in lower than 176 but we shall see

On another note I never understand why a stock sometimes can’t be bought or sold due to either increasing or falling price. There should always be a price (everything has a price) I can buy at rather than saying “no quote” why don’t they raise the sell and buy price quicker to keep stock liquid. Essentially it is their only job. Happens too often.

Volumes are not huge. If we were seeing this price action on big volumes I would be more excited. Feel like this will end up dropping back to mid single digit %ages by end of the day.

Only a positive RNS or a leak (which would be signaled by high volume) is going to permanently move this. Got shot down for (correctly) pointing this out last time but suspect this is another great trading opportunity. Sell in 180s buy back at 160 (take 10% more shares into the weekend)

Good I think. Would hope for a rise from here. Was 1850p a year ago and revenues remain nearly or nearly as strong with EPS only down due to provisions cash position actually stronger.

No justification for price to be where it is.... 1800-1900 would seem fairer right now.

well I can't get a quote to sell but can get one to buy at 7.25p. Think the MMs have too many shares now. Shame I was in a meeting when it hit 8p. That would have had me back in profit.

Is there a reasonable reason why this is not an RNS? I get that everytime M&S sell a blouse they don’t have to announce it to the city but a deal this big in contrast to market cap surely obliges the company to RNS the news? Any plausible reasons why they wouldn’t?

So rose tinted. Why would we have news next week. Seems that is the consensus but the question was when do you think not when do you hope. I would be surprised if we get groundbreaking news (I.e news which sends us soaring towards 300p and beyond) until Jan/Feb next year maybe December if second wave is deadlier than first and governments become desperate.

Everyone got excited by clinigen this week but I took it slightly differently. I don’t think we would have signed up with clinigen If a deal to supply through normal (emergency) means was imminent. Why bother if you are about to get an order of 100,000 treatments a month from France, Germany or USA?

The deal with Clinigen shows progress and is a useful way of advancing prospects of getting proper approval but also shows that we are someway from having these things.

That’s my logical reasoned argument for needing to wait. Would love the “300p by close” brigade to provide a similar reasoned argument for why so sure we are going to get news next Wednesday... I suspect you also think your lottery numbers are coming in on Saturday?

I hear what you are saying Manifesto but as it happens it is a moot point as we didn’t hit 185 and are now back at 167 so no trade for me today. As it happens though it would have been a pretty safe trade could have banked 20p a share with the risk of a crucial RNS coming in open hours quite low. I have about 17000 shares so £3.5k would have been the profit (although probably wouldn’t have traded the whole lot)

Obviously If we start selling the drug across France then this will be huge. I’ve missed the RNS about that sorry. Could you tell me where it is?

This rise is on no great volume. I would be surprised if we pushed past 187 and suspect we will end the day at 160 - 165. I am def tempted to trade out of this at 185 and buy back at 165 or lower as I don’t think a ground breaking RNS is imminent. Maybe not until Jan even.

SNG is 30% of my portfolio and the only share which can single handedly make a significant impact to my wealth but I must be the only one on here this morning that thinks that is quite a watered down RNS. Nothing like the clear message that the Covid study was and also a generic “we are working on it” update on COVID.

By the excitement here I hope there will be a rise but I have been patiently holding expecting a miraculous cure for COPD (my mum is a sufferer) and I didn’t get that from the RNS.

Not what you think it should be but what it will be....

What price will people consider topping up at? I think anything under 170 and I will reluctantly add (sng is already far too big a proportion of my portfolio) suspect we will be more in the 180s though.
