We get an RNS in which “astounding” results are announced and the price goes absolutely nowhere .. Even Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey just don’t know what to do about it .. !!

I must admit like a few others a feeling of being underwhelmed this morning. Each morning wait excitedly for little red dot. Got 2 this morning SAR and GGP. The SAR was good but was then corrected with a negative result and GGP (which I got into 3 weeks ago) in spite of an “outstanding” result from recent drilling barely moved! Just emphasises how patient you have to be until “boom” day finally arrives!!

This mornings news looks absolutely incredible but just trying to evaluate what it means!
On every LSE chat board there are posters who really know their stuff and are worth listening to for real insight. Being very new to GGP who are the key posters here who are really worth listening too?

Crikey Sierra touching $27 inspite of announcing placing at $15 .. think that’ll get gobbled up .. looking very exciting (for SAR too!)

I think the spike to 9p last year should be viewed just as that with hindsight. A spike. SAR currently has a market cap of 140 million which for a company still waiting for first revenue is a pretty amazing value based on IP and potential. If profit from royalties on 737 are indeed 2.7 million then on a PE of 20 that gives you 54 million value. To justify a value of 140 million at a PE of 20 you are looking for profits of 7 million a year. Of course the pipeline of products is worth a lot more than that if it all comes to fruition but we will just have wait patiently.

Current market cap at 4p is approx 140 million. So I billion equates to about 28p a share (ding dong Thoth2!!) 2 billion equates to 56p and 3 billion to approx 84p a share!

Just reading Sierra announcements today they said they had 104 million in cash or equivalents at 31st December, today they announced a 120 million loan facility and then after hours the intention to raise a further 100 million via a public offer! What are they going to do with all this money if it all goes through? Milestones to Sareum …

Extraordinary response Sad .. thank you so much. Mention of Takeda brought back fond memories .. I had a great run with Shire Pharma for 15 years enjoying a 10 fold gain before Takeda took them over in 2019. Be happy to see the same here with Sareum or Sierra or both! Currently have a big holding in Sareum but a smaller holding in Sierra and was just wondering whether I should even up the holdings a bit? Have a great feeling about Sareum after holding for over 10 years and incredibly excited about the science but Sierra suddenly seem very interesting too!!

Current market caps not dissimilar. So which share is likely to perform better over next 12m? My gut feeling is Sierra might do better in the shorter term but Sareum might do better in the longer term? Any thoughts?

We’ve had too much wine this evening celebrating this weeks share price rise (ha ha) and in a spontaneous zoom call with some old friends now living in Portugal we have booked to fly out to Lisbon on Wednesday to join him and his dear wife for an evening to celebrate his 69th birthday!! Never know how long you might have .. or how long we may have to wait for 28p !! Sometimes you just have to live for today!!

Hang on I’ve got 3,403 million shares in SAR so everyone else must be fibbing!! It’s getting silly and I can compete with the best in silliness!!

Just had to reach for my ****tail of Gaviscon and Rennies because my tummy is beginning to fester with excitement .. maybe little more than a feeling in my gut but my confidence is growing that the long wait in negative price territory may soon be over.. topping up at between 4p and 7p over last 2-3 weeks has brought my average buy price down from over a £1 to nearer 40p which provides a much better chance of finally going positive again after 8 years of being under water

Sounds a bit like the Nature article in December 2020 which didn’t do share price any harm!

3% of a company worth 5 million is hardly pushing the boat out for a HNWI! He’s already made over £100,000! Maybe Navitas are sniffing around here too and this guy has got a nod in that direction!

Agree Sven about the gold sector generally. I also have Griffin Mining which is down from £1.50 to 90p since early 2021; don’t see Griffin as high risk (for me) as I bought in initially at 7p and have sold on the way up so holding is for free now. Blackrock Gold is also down over last 12 months. On the other hand general mining shares that I hold like Glencore and Blackrock World Mining are both well up over 12 months .. so a mixed bag really!

I have 4 shares in what I call my high risk portfolio .. Rockhopper (Oil potential in Falklands), Power Metal Resources (mining and exploration), Sareum (bio pharma research in particular exciting potential cancer treatments) and now GGP. All have great potential if their plans come to fruition!
