Do we have idea how the extra shares will be allocated in relation to the amount applied for or will we just have to wait and see?

Now the mood is improving around SAR let’s hope 3 stepping stones can be scaled again .. £1.60 (3.2p old money) the consolidation price, then £2.35 (4.7p old money) the most recent high on 18 Feb then £3.00 (6p old money) the previous previous spike on 30th November.

Sells are significantly higher than buys but price up over 20% .. not sure I’ll ever understand the workings of the market!

The wording of the news is almost identical to the February wording ie “ with a view to signing definitive documentation on the transaction by this date” only it is delayed y another month. Why are they “pleased to announce” a delay. I would have thought “sorry” would be a better word?

Always like to have up to 10% of portfolio in high risk stuff. Makes the days interesting! Made a lot on SAR last year and GFM has been a brilliant investment over the years. AVR and CDL are already looking useful but GGP and POLY maybe got on board later than I should have! RKH and BOR have been disappointing for 10 years but no point getting out now! The other 90% is in Investment Trusts, OEICS and FTSE 100 shares that have good yields (5% or more).

Finally decided to come on board today at 3.20 so down a bit. Hopeful that the positive posters here will be proven right. Have around 10 high risk shares now in my portfolio only need a few of them to come good to make a massive difference to retirement and cover the utility bills!! SAR, CDL, GGP, ARV, GFM, RKH, BOR, POW, POLY !! Makes the days interesting!

Many thanks for your steer re POLY at the weekend and sadly I missed the boat on Monday/Tuesday for reasons you know. I did, however, pump a few grand into JP Morgan Russian IT back end of last week for exposure to more optimistic chances of peace in the War and they have enjoyed a similar jump to POLY. Is the general feeling here that it may now be a bit late to have a go at POLY or could it still have a long way to go?

If I was a betting man I would say an RNS tomorrow will be a racing certainty!

Good to see! 50p would do me fine and more than cover losses over 12 years on DES, FOGL and RKH and leave me with a profit on the whole show!!
Of course if BOR gets to 50p every likelihood RKH will be 50p + and probably a load more!!

Can’t really see the share price moving up significantly and permanently until after April 6th and the rights issue; till then it is likely to be anchored at around 1.30. After that though the sky is the limit.

Yes I tried unsuccessfully to buy CDL via Halifax a few weeks ago. Poor lad on the phone didn’t have a clue. So I bought a chunk via Transact instead no problem at all.

Great memory Casper! With the time difference there is a few hours to kill the morning to keep up with the markets! Just getting ready to set off for the Vivian Richards Stadium; missing the first hour today because there was rain in the air. It’s a lovely atmosphere in the ground everyone mixing together and enjoying the music and random dancing between overs! England need a good start to their second innings to make a match of it now!! A couple of posters have suggested price might rise up towards 4-6p (£2 - £3) over next couple of weeks before drifting back down again. What do they think might drive it up so much in the near future? Just intrigued!

Have changed my thought process with regard to returns here. Based on old money I bought at 1p and when I sold a third of my shares last summer at avg 7p my initial thought process was great that’s all my cost covered plus a 100% profit on my total holding and my remaining two thirds of shares were for free!
Been disappointed with the drop so have changed my mental approach to this so now I think in terms of the third I sold last year I made a 600% realised gain on and the two thirds remaining cost me 1p so I am showing a 150% unrealised gain on them. It’s all mind games I know but that feels better to me than reflecting on the 80% drop since last summer!! I don’t need to sell my balance of shares any time soon so like Thoth and others will wait for the end game of a takeover or ripping licence deal!!
