Well I’m in! Was a bit late finding out about GGP and didn’t get in until last month at 13p so didn’t want to miss the boat! Had my bit of good fortune with GFM which I bought at 7p many years ago and SAR as well which I got in at 1p. They make up for RKH oil in Falklands which has been a real dog but showing signs of coming back to life!! These high risk shares certainly take you on a roller coaster!!

I was once stuck in a local taxi for a half an hour journey and the taxi driver spent the whole journey ****ging off Bill Gates with all sorts of ludicrous and outrageous accusations; I told him I had never heard such nonsense and would Google his accusations when I got home. He said I wouldn’t find anything on Google as it was all censored! So I asked where he got all his nonsense from and he said some search engine called Duck Duck Go which I had never heard of! So I said I would look on Duck Duck Go when I got home but he said I wouldn’t be able to find anything there either !!??! It was a farcical and pointless conversation but shows how dangerous the internet can be. I was so cheesed off I called his taxi company and complained about the driver because I felt his comments were wholly inappropriate and said I didn’t want that driver again! Apparently I wasn’t the first passenger he had upset!!

What is a current fair value for SAR?
I think the leap to 9p was excessive based on a wave of excitable optimism. It took our market cap to way above 250 million. At the moment the market cap is drifting back to 100 million which upon reflection may be more reasonable given the stages our various products are at? Value of SRA737 to us whilst exciting is dependent on actions of others so hard to value at this point. 1801 is still fairly early stage and not doing human trials yet and pending significant toxicity results so again uncertain. 1802 is further down the line still. So even a market cap of 100 million is a big number given the work still to be done.

Billion pound market cap party .. that would be around 29.5p a share old money or £14.75 new money. That would certainly see me happy!!

What is PHs fee for arranging this? I think we should know the costs of this exercise

So need an American partner or like RKH and Israeli partner .. the Argies probably wouldn’t mess with them!

What is the estimated amount of oil that BOR discovered. Have had a small investment here since FOGL DES days but forgotten how big BORs discovery was! I have a much larger investment in RKH but wonder if I should go more 50/50 between BOR and RKH?

I remember borrowing a quarter of a million when I was 27 and it took a 15 minute meeting with the bank manager and regional director of Midland Bank followed by a 2 hour lunch. All about trust!!

We were talking about the good old days on our weekly gentleman’s walk yesterday and about how much easier it was to deal with and talk to banks etc and just write cheques and have no worries about fraud and internet banking and box ticking nonsense!

Unimaginative .. wow European away days bring back so many memories especially between 1993 and 2001! Didn’t miss one for 8 years and was lucky enough to take my 2 sons (aged 14 and 12) to Barcelona in 1999 for unforgettable memories!!

Your first match sounds like it was Sammy McIlroys debut when he scored early on as a 17 year old, set up by George Best who to be fair was always kept quiet by Glyn Pardoe (and Paul Reaney at Leeds to be fair). I started following Utd in 1966 when luckily for me the builders working on our house offered to take me to OT! They were heady days in the 60s are n Manchester with 2 great teams and there was always Stockport County on a Friday night too (to avoid clashing with the Manchester teams! Then came 26 years of often unbearably dire football followed by Fergie and now probably another 26 years of dire football. I just want to see England win something before I peg it! Oh and to see GGP and SAR help me leave a decent wedge for my kids!!

It’s funny how discussions about share prices and timings go round in circles as we wait for news! I still think that Thoths original target of around 28p and probably now within next 2 years is looking most likely bearing in mind time scales for 737, 1801 and 1802 possible licence deals possible take out at some point. If I could get out in 3 stages, a 1/3 a 1/3 a 1/3 over next 2 years at 10p, 20p and 30p that would give me a risk reward that I would be very happy with.

21 million shares at 27$ seems unlikely! That’s more than the whole company!

Crikey Sierra will be awash with money! With the extra funds and share price jump they have nearly doubled their market cap this year!

What does that mean? Does it mean they are adding to the existing terms or just delaying the signing for another 2 months. Very ambiguous!
