I’m very new to GGP (bought in at 13.90p a week or so ago). I can see good news about Havieron coming in in December 2020 when the share price reached 37p but puzzled by the decline since then given that the price of gold now is pretty much where it was in December 2020.

Wow Bamps thank you so much that was an incredible report worthy of a Summa Cum Laude any day!! So glad I picked up on this share during the week based on some of the quality input on this board. I have had a great run on Sareum (SAR) a bio research company where I invested at 1p sold some at 9p but now sit on the balance of my holding at 4.4p (not dissimilar to GGP share price pattern). The more educated and constructive posters there are optimistic of a target price of 20p to 30p if the science is proven and a deal is struck. Have similarly knowledgable posters here on GGP estimated potential price targets for GGP if things go according to plan. Based on the information from Bamps the potential looks mind blowing!!

Desperately sorry to hear about your father. What an amazing guy you must be to care for your Dad for so long; he must have been a pretty wonderful guy too and you must have had a precious relationship.
Re your family home if both your Mum and Dad lived there and they have both sadly passed away then there should be 325,000 + 175,000 each in allowances available potentially (depends on all circumstances) so a £1 million in total. As others have said if you can find a good solicitor that helps.
For what’s it’s worth I retrained and started a new career as an accountant at 56! Just sold the business after 8 years of building it up!

Agree “lazy” on my part but from the little I know at the moment not “silly” at 14p!
90% of my shares are good solid stuff FTSE250 shares and Investment Trusts good yields steady growth and these I research. The 10% is fun money and shares where you just pick based on a good gut feel from things people say. I’ve tried due diligence on these types of shares and doesn’t usually help much as Neil Woodford found; you try to get in at a good price and hope you are lucky with the ones you choose.

Have read a couple of interesting things about GGP which suggest it could be an exciting ride so decided to make it the high risk/high return addition to my pension for this year and bought some yesterday. Would anyone be kind enough to do a brief synopsis of the potential here? Seems like a very active and busy discussion board.

Interested by the comment that PH were appointed at short notice. Not sure what that means and whether it has any significance? Surely a broker wouldn’t start work before they are appointed anyway so do not know what they mean by short notice! Is there a reason for having more than one broker and what can PH do that the existing broker couldn’t do? Must be some good reason why they were appointed and would have been good if we had been told why.

Sorry to be off topic just interested in the mention of GGP which I assume is the gold mining company. Interesting that they are still only a “penny” share even though market cap is 500 million. I have been in Griffin Mining (GFM) for over 15 years buying in at 7p and seeing it get to 90p via £1.50 .. again perhaps should have sold as a 20 bagger at £1.50 but it’s human nature to hang on for more!!

I’m baffled by the complaints of lack of information. What are posters expecting?
We had an update with the AGM on December 16th followed more HNWI investments. We know toxicity results on 1801 are due relatively soon thanks to Steve Parkers occasional tweets giving us the heads up. We know with SRA737 that we are in the hands of Sierra which we can’t really do much about for now!
Of course it’s frustrating to see a steady decline from the heady days of 9p back in August but the speed that rise was hyped on a wave of excitement and hope probably by the same people who have presided over the fall back to just over 4p. The decline from 9p started long before PH came on board although I am intrigued as to what it is SAR are hoping PH will do; it would certainly take longer than 10 weeks for PH to broker something significant to help develop shareholder value. Even at 4p we are looking at a company valued at nearly 150 million with no sales but on the back of incredible potential and patent protections.
I find it incredibly frustrating like everyone else and admit to checking my phone every half an hour or so for any news, it’s human nature especially when a strong RNS could make such a difference to our lives but sadly continued patience and trust in SAR’s work is all we have for now…oh plus a 15 fold increase since March 2020!

Key news due is the decision in the OM case which could be worth anything from 30 to 200 million to RKH and then the final signing of the Agreement with Navitas followed hopefully by the announcement of a fresh farm in partner by Navitas to take Sea Lion through to first oil. Apart from that not a lot to look forward to … !!

10p to 30p pre consolidation would be £1.30 to £3.90 if a 13:1 consolidation assuming no shenanigans from MM which no one can predict!

Was fascinated when we were over in New York before Xmas to see Weed (Cannabis) vans parked on 5th, 6th and 7th Avenue apparently all legal over there!! It was quite surreal seeing a weed van parked alongside a pop up COVID testing tent in Times Square! Although the 2 aren’t linked it was just something you don’t see in Piccadilly Circus!!
