Wow I calculate that’s over over 6 million shares openly declared in last day or so! Some big hitters!
I’m with you Paranoia .. I originally bought at 7p and sold some when it last touched £1.50 and the cursed when it dropped right back down again but decided if it ever got back to £1.50 I would sell. Trouble is now I feel GFM is much stronger than when it last hit £1.50 so I’m going to hang on a while; I think I’ll use stop loss this time and sell if I see a 10% drop.
Hi Gunner yes look forward to seeing you in December hopefully SAR will be in a different phase by then and things will be looking up. I wanted to ask about PH at the last AGM but as you rightly observe there was barely any time allowed! Maybe we go armed with chains and padlocks!!😵💫😵💫 Hope all is good with you .
I have written to Lauren Williams and Dr Parker (registered letter) to ask the current situation with RF in terms of outstanding liabilities. Also took the opportunity to ask how much PH had cost us since October 2021 and could they advise what they believe the benefits to SAR have been from the association with PH.
Have been at a funeral most of day so catching up on price movements and banter. Won’t sell any till this gets back to where it should be at the moment which is £1.
Thanks BB
Does this mean the RF debt is completely cleared now .. sorry if stupid question 😵💫
Great news this morning re RF. Would love to see the back of PH too. I would be interested to learn from SAR of any benefit whatsoever that they have brought to our company. I think it would be a very fair question in December at the AGM .. what have PH cost us in fees and what benefits have they provided for those fees? However likelihood is by then that SAR will have moved into a completely new phase and the price will be at a completely different level and so PH may be an irrelevance.
For the plane buffs on here if ever you are in this area there is a splendid air museum at Tangmere just outside Chichester with fabulous details and stories and momentos’s of airmen based there and at Goodwood during the War and numerous magnificent airplanes on display both inside and outside including a Spitfire, Vulcan and many many others. It’s not especially a hobby of mine but I was blown away by the museum it was fabulous.
That of course is a wise observation. Like others I now have twice as many shares as 6 weeks ago so that more than offsets the dilution! Almost as lucky as United!!
Just seen my dire team surrender a 3 goal lead to Coventry .. SAR at £2 would frankly be “less” of a surprise!!
Just to quantify my understanding of the share dilution since December 2000 when there were 64 million shares (post consolidation calculation; there were actually just over 3,200 million shares so / by 50). There are now 104 million shares so the dilution is 38.5% approximately. So if SAR did reach a market cap of £1 billion the share price now with 104 million shares would be £9.60 compared with a price of £15.60 before all the dilutions.
Stumbled across Simply Wall Street whilst researching one of my better investments GFM. I checked what they deem the fair value of SAR to be and they say £29!! Wouldn’t that be nice!!!
As we move back into the blue if I could paraphrase Rowan Atkinson and summarise what a lot of serious investors on here might think about MAJ and his ilk “If we might use a gardening simile here, if his entire genre could be likened to a compost heap (and I think they can) then MAJ might possibly be the biggest weed growing out of it. They are the type of people you would emigrate to avoid. Frankly I wouldn’t trust any of them to sit the right way round on a lavatory”
I agree HBD it is a strange set of emotions! Like many others I’m sure I have doubled my holding at between 12p and 16p over the last 2 weeks bringing my average now down to just over 40p so I feel very grateful for this unexpected opportunity. Not sure who to thank for it really! Probably the investors who were able to make a significant contribution via the WRAP! I couldn’t participate in the WRAP because neither my pension provider nor Halifax could help so I bought on the open market. However we should have been raising up to £5 million in Spring 2022 at a much higher price but sadly we had a broker who seemed more focused on a pointless consolidation rather than a serious attempt to raise funds.
Nice to have a day of really enjoyable banter .. have concluded that the BofD skill set is diametrically opposite to my efforts at school where I was top in Economics but propping up the class in Science which I was absolutely useless at .. the BofD appear to be brilliant at science but pretty hopeless on the economic side of things !! If we can stay afloat which looks more likely now then their brilliance at science will win the day!!
I think comparisons with 2021 aren’t quite right because we got a turbo boost back then based on potential opportunities re Covid. However £2 back then and most certainly now is very realistic. Let’s hope it’s a fun ride!
It was 50p back in 2011 before all the advances in the science and all the new patents of the last 12 years so surely at least £1 is the minimum current value and I’d say more like £2 frankly!!
See you are in AVCT Wiggly .. share price by pattern almost same as SAR peak in mid 2021 .. terrible since then .. but SAR is on the rise again exciting times we know what it is capable of!! So glad I got the chance to top up at just over 10p!!
The share price is easing off like a Champagne cork and it’s soon going to go pop .. my choice would be a bottle of Roger Manceaux one of the nicest I’ve ever drunk!!
