Looks like the back burner till 2027 now unless something is pulled out of the hat like magic! No intention of selling but my plans for a Citroen DS to cruise around France in must look to my other high risk (looney) investments for now primarily oil, gas and precious metals. I’ve been invested in the Falklands for about as long as SAR so hope RKH and BOR will come good finally in 2025. 2026 I’ll look to PRD and TPR for excitement along with GST and HE1 and gold miners GGP and GFM. Then finally SAR will get it right in 2027. Also just added URU and SML to my portfolio of looney tunes!!

No choice now but to put SAR firmly on the back burner until 2027. I have around 10 “high risk” shares and I shall to oil, gas and precious metal shares for my excitement in 2025/26. I have been big into RKH and BOR (Falklands) for about as long as SAR and very hopeful that they will prove the stars of 2025 for me. 2026 I hope PRD and TRP will come good and maybe GST and HE1. Always excited by GFM and GGP on the gold front and just added small punts in URU and SML … never a dull morning from that lot!!!

I’m really not sure what to do! I have a decent number of shares at an average now of just over 30p sine bought about 14 years ago! Very lucky to have sold 1/3 in 2021 so even I got zippo for my remaining shares I would still be up overall but not the life changing return I have always hoped for. Normally from here I’d sell 1/3 at £1 then another 1/3 at £3 but I just don’t know now if we’ll ever get to even that first target although I feel happier now than 24 hours ago. Think I’ll stick and wait till 2027.

Yet another day when buys massively exceed sales yet the price slumps. This will undoubtedly have a spectacular up day in the near future probably on a day when sells massively exceed sales yet buys.

Could someone list all the known trolls on here who clearly have no interest in PRD and are almost certainly not invested then the rest of us agree that under no circumstances do we respond or engage with these people on this board . In this way they will hopefully get bored and go away and leave this board to people who care interested and are invested.

I am invested in another company PRD who have said quite openly that Divestment in progress ie talks ongoing. Why can’t SAR be as open as this?

Thanks PCS .. great memory! Happy with the result I’d almost forgotten what it felt like. I’m a bit numb with what is happening at SAR just don’t know what to make of things. Nothing seems to have failed with any of the products but we don’t seem to be making any progress! Hope to be at AGM if other commitments allow. Be great to see you and Gunnar again (and Pascale!). Can you remember the full name of the John guy who read out a long note at the 2023 meeting?

Averaging in at 33p currently I would be so relieved to get to £1 so I can sell 1/3, as is my strategy on all shares now, and keep the rest on a free ride. I think we have all been incredibly patient here!

I nearly went up Ben Nevis once ,45 years ago, and as we climbed ever higher my girlfriend at the time kept pointing at the next mountain saying she thought that one was higher but I kept stubbornly saying I was sure we were climbing the right mountain. She was right .. and a frosty evening followed at the Ben Nevis Hotel in Fort William!!
