Thanks everyone for your kind wishes. It would be fun if one or two of the “high risk” shares I have been a long suffering investor in ended up earning more for me in a year than any of the last 48 years of self employment did!!
£15 would mean a market cap of 10 billion. Is that feasible ??
Well that’s it .. finally retired yesterday at 14.00 after 48 years quietly slogging away .. no more spreadsheets!! Come on SAR .. looking forward to the company finally delivering on the science over next 12-18 months; as some one said at the AGM it’s all about the data, data and data!! Then we can really start to enjoy whatever time we might have left!!!
You’re bang on there Ramman my youngest son has taken too many sets off me this year and I can’t get within 100 years of my eldest son’s drives so a lot of work needed there in both sports!!!
Well that’s it .. finally retired today at 14.00 after 48 years quietly slogging away .. no more spreadsheets!! Come on PRD don’t hang about let’s see some action over the next few weeks so we can really start to enjoy whatever time we might have left!!!
Thank you Keith 😎
Thanks Mrn that makes sense!
Please excuse my ignorance or naivety here but why don’t oil and gas exploration companies do the testing at the same time as they do the drilling. Surely if they’ve got the rig above the hole to do the drilling why don’t they leave it there and do the testing while access down the hole to the oil or gas is still in place?
Did anything happen to cause that sudden rise on LSE?
BRV I’m kicking myself I didn’t get back into Rolls Royce a year ago! Could be exciting times there especially if they develop small nuclear modular units!
highlandmatt .. small world! i remember way back in 1979, when i first started producing flame ******ant fabrics, that most nursing and care homes were owned and run by social services .. not sure what happened there!!
Southern Cross was a major Care Home group that went bust in 2012 so don’t want any omens alluding to them!! I only know this trivia because I used to supply them with fabrics!!
No reason at all now why we should not get back to pre Covid price levels of £1.30 to £1.50. After 20 years here (in at 7p) I think I’ll bail out at £1.50!
1801 is in ongoing trials, a deal has been done on 737 1802 is on hold until 1801 testing has been completed. What other news is there to report? Market sentiment is often impossible to understand. I am invested in GFM who published a spectacular RNS this morning and the price moved just 3%. . Utterly bizarre!!
From GFM where I have been invested for 20 years
Chairman's comments
"Spectacular. That is the only word that can adequately describe what has been achieved by the management and staff of the Company in 2023
Imagine that here! It’s coming!!
And of course PRDs oil and gas does not have to pass through the Red Sea/Gulf of Suez so big big bonus there!
Tee hee! Will be very happy to go to the moon with a free ride on the 2/3 I hang on to!!! At least this moonshot will be gas powered, unlike Peregrine, so at least it has a chance!!
Thanks Shortshrift really appreciate the heads up. Whilst my target is £1.65 I will follow my usual plan to top slice on the way up and avoid being too greedy. So I plan to sell 1/3 at 50p which means I would have doubled my original stake and have a “free ride” on the balance of 2/3. I made the mistake of not doing this a few years ago with RKH and won’t make that mistake again!
Just out of interest Shortshrift what is your price target for PRD? I assume that if you are invested you will have a target. Mine is a market cap of £1 billion so about £1.65 a share.
Thanks AJ sorry for such a dopey question .. I’m in the middle of binge watching the first series of Traitor and I think I’ve ended up with twisted blood!!
