In answer to your question, Medjed, yes. Here is a snippets from an RNS on Fri, 25th Jan 2008.
" All the options have been granted at 228p (being the average middle-marketclosing price on the three days immediately preceding the date of grant). The options are not exercisable until 1 January 2011."

There's a PDMR on the 3rd of April that quotes a transfer of, " 320,000 ordinary shares at 314.75p each"
But as there were only 67,801,840 shares in issue at the time that would have made a Mcap of over £200m.
That don't seem right, but... wtfdik ???? :)

It all gets very convoluted and complicated around that time. Especially during the transfer of ownership from EgdonResources to Portland Gas.

Have noticed some of the same characters from previous times re-appearing over the last few days. Back in for a pump and quick trade before disappearing, again, imo. I'm guessing they were sniffing around what they thought could be a bottom. Should leave that sort of thing to dogs. ;)

Evening Medjed. I use Investing.com for all my charting needs. Change it to the "technical chart" view for best results.
Play around with time intervals, then just use the mouse to size it and drag it along, or the zoom button to find the area of interest. I find that a lot of charts don't allow for the consolidation from a few years back or maybe the considerable amount of dilution that has happened over the years. I think that is why some charts give such strange SP figures.

As you are interested in the prices from back then, here are a few from my notes from around that time. Feb 2011 a placing @22p. August 2010 a PDMR @ 27p. December 2009 the SP was 89.6p for something or other I can't recall atm. :)

There were 78,264,326 shares in issue the day I bought or 78.2 million
Today there would have been 17,304,721,100 but for a 100:1 consolidation or 17.3 billion.
I think that is a 22,011% increase in the amount of shares in issue.
BUT, at todays SP we are up just over a penny since then.
So, it's all good and I count myself lucky. lol

That is nothing like how or what happened at all. He was origanlly brought in as a consultant by Po**** after the shareholder coup in 2017. He was then made COO in June 2018 to look after FEED related activities. Then took over after AP left.
So unless it was him that put AP and PW up to instigate the coup just so he could get rid of the old BoD and eventually get hold of H&W. Maybe Chitta is right and he's just been playing the long game all along.

I was just looking on the Investor Meet Company site and on it's calendar for Harl it has results expected for the end of May. Could that be interim accounts?

Just to support the local yard it was Appledore, when then owned by Babcox.
And, afaics, there is nothing wrong the pointy end.

According to ADHDvFN volume was split 3,535,668 Buys, 3,813,048 Sells and 185,580 unknown. I know that's just an approximation of the trades but it's something to go by. There were not so many of the chunky 100k trades today either and I would have thought that they would have counted towards his reduction yesterday.
So, I wouldn't like to say how many he has left,but can't see how he would have managed to get rid of 2.5m since yesterdays rns. Assuming it was an up to date TR-1 when it was notified.
Will may never find out so it's all a bit academic to a certain degree.
