Fwiw, "EN AVANT 30 (IMO: 9597317) is a Fire Fighting Vessel that was built in 2011 (12 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Netherlands."

Not the sort of vessel that has been used, up to now, for towing barges. So we will have to see what happens when it gets there. Also, it sailed from Liverpool where as all the others have been towed from tugs from the South coast. Namely the Venture from Falmouth. Which, having dropped off No. 3 yesterday, is heading back there.

Or, is it heading straight back for No. 4???????? ;)

Pretty certain JW recently mentioned high street banks being in the mix for funding, but I not going to sit through the webinar again just to find it.

Rewhbe, fwiw, aren't you are just multiplying his current holding by his average.

He doesn't say how he arrived at that average. Obviously, as it is an average then one could assume it's over several trades. A few ill timed low priced sells and some higher priced buy backs can, over time, leave you with a higher average for the same amount of shares. A concept I'm sure some are familiar with. :)

As an aside. I noticed that a vessel had arrived off the North Devon coast that according to its info had originated from the SeaRose. I thought it may be coming into Appledore but watching its activity it seems to be doing survey work, along with the Kommandor Iona, for the proposed Whitecross windfarm array.

Has been mooted that there could be work in it for Appledore regarding some demonstration units.

In the latest stage of it's development they have been doing archaeological investigations.

JW may have posted a pic and caption but, being honest, that does not mean a damned thing.

They posted a pic of HMS Argus when it used the SRQ. And, as if to infer it was in for more work, including a list of previous work that the yard had done. Was it, no, just a social vistit.

It's all fluff, inuendo and padding until a contract actually signed sealed and RNSed.

And an actual contract. Not a MoU, a LoI or a framework agreement.

And when they do get another contract, I guess we can expect the SP to take another hit. lol

And so it will continue until they can show a proift, i guess.

That's interesting about a fire, as the Superfast VII has been showing for some time as briefly shifting to the SRQ from it's normal V4N mooring. Almost posted about the fact earlier in the week but it seemed such a short stay that it looked more like a temporary shifting other ships around thing and not there for work to be done.

Fwiw, the Venture and the CBB3 are east of Dublin on their way to London. I'll give it a wave as it passes by. :)

Must admit that it is out of the norm for a vessel that is in for work to leave dock twice and return, but why do you think that there is a problem and it's not just sea trials?

Not sure if I would be expecting any kind of update, tbh.
