Ha ha Jacklevi you really know how to cheer folk up with your talk of failure at TE-9 :) You're right though when I saw "Directorate Change" there was a nightmare scenario that flashed across my mind, so not the end of the world! Hopefully something positive on the seismic will emerge from Norwich and we'll all be bouncing like Tigger again.

Trouble is that sentiment is so low that almost any news can be seen as negative. If JP feels the need to have this guy on board then looking at his background I think it once and for all rules out a sale on seismic. That possibility was probably keeping a few in but now quite honestly it's just the long-term faithful until the drill. Right now I feel more negative than Eeyore.

Crikey Neptune's I'm not familiar with that film so not entirely sure what you're getting at but I hope I'm mistaken in my suspicions - think that post may disappear rather swiftly.

Neptunes I half agree with you in that Jp will certainly be fine once the dust settles in the event of a failure. But of course his reputation would have been tarnished. Imploring PI's to hang onto golden tickets while selling into the CPR doesn't look good. However he is to be admired for his honesty and communications to PI's over this issue. There is definitely some nervousness afoot and I think the company would do well to formally issue an assurance about the seismic as soon as there is sufficient analysis for this to be done reliably. Seems rumours are growing whether scurrilously or not as to the picture that is forming. On a slightly different note I think a lot of PI's have been spooked by the change in tone from the company as the razzamatazz has given away to poker faces, to me that speaks volumes about exactly where we are now in terms of the exit rather than despondency about our prospects.

Not sure Dillon, we need something concrete about the work programme as there is a sense that the project has stalled (albeit while waiting for approval of the fund-raise at the GM). The elephant in the room at the GM might also be the fact that zinc has dropped to something like a 9 month low. Whatever our prospects are, people will always sell for a reason during a hiatus like this - another opportunity elsewhere or just the need for some cash. Not necessarily a negative just nothing to tempt new money in just yet.

I wonder if the mysterious Mr&Mrs Williams sold that tranch in March to finance their take up as one of the 'certain existing investors'. Not suggesting any wrong doing but blimey it must be easy to make money when you're in the club. If they did maybe we'll hear that they've gone back above 3%. I do feel that with a little patience we'll all get an opportunity to average down when the market takes this below 0.0575

I'm not sure, but I don't think I can recall seeing a junior explorer raise funds and not watched as the price drifts below the offer. At that point the market seems pleased with itself and off we go. I'm certainly not adding yet.

With the price of Zinc soaring ever higher I will be very disappointed if they can't negotiate some kind of finance package or joint venture. I'm praying they don't use the AIM narcotic of choice that is Primary Bid. Although my last participation with FRR has turned out okay (for now) I don't think I have ever been involved in one that hasn't seen the SP sink straight down to the offer price or below. Add to that the interminable amount of time it takes to get the stock and the fact that the fees are roughly double the regular commission on a trading account I think most folk here will be very sceptical if they go that route.

Well yes but the sell on news was so predictable, the impact only lessened by the fact it started a couple of weeks ago. The good news about the resource was never going to translate into sustainable gains today without some reassurance about financing moving towards a production model. With the price of zinc soaring in our favour could nothing have been done on this front or are they so complacent knowing that they'll be cap in hand to the shareholders in time-honoured AIM fashion. I really wish I'd bailed this morning because if I see the dreaded words 'Primary Bid' I'll be off in a flash whatever the loss.

The only warning I would give is that today's rise will have caught the attention of spread betting traders so expect the de-rampers to turn up. It will start off subtly with convivial advice about the dangers of AIM explorers (really!) and then gradually get more frenzied. I'm not saying don't read it, I never filter them as they provide balance against the excessive ramping that will also happen, just be aware that dark forces will come into play that have nothing to do with investing in an asset.

Hi All - I have rarely posted here, having been in and out over the years and unfortunately back in at the wrong time! Although I do find talk of a 7p plus take out price encouraging I just can't see how Loudon is in a position to drive a hard bargain. Surely the only hope is a rescue package from the larger shareholders and even then the smaller PI's are going to be shafted by massive dilution or the company taking on more debt on unfavourable terms. Sorry to be a doom-mongerer but I would be hugely relieved to take losses in the region of 5p and throw it all into SOU which doesn't need any ramping from me but is a wonderful exception in AIM for respecting and informing the PI.
