Well something is holding it up that we don't know about but really, Schlumberger finance the seismic then don't want to drill? Given the inexplicable delay it's hardly surprising that bizarre theories are floated. The groundworks synergy thing with TE-10 is looking more and more odd when the savings must be a drop in the ocean compared to the actual drill. We have seen from webcams before that out in the desert it's a pretty basic operation and not massively labour intensive unlike Badille.

Hi Mole - totally respect your measured responses to my rants. I have only been hassling YJ for clarity on the company's plan on how to release results, obviously not expecting price sensitive info. For me the only explanation for lack of delivery on T-45 and UD-2 is a strategy to release the whole campaign in one, surely that can be made explicit. However I don't buy the rationale for that approach to news flow unless the results are hugely mixed. This is not a deramp (trust me I'm very invested) but I do believe in leaks and the market would suggest that either nothing mind blowing has been unearthed or flows are middling with the arbitration possibilities plus the blackout weighing heavily on the SP.

Thanks SS good to know I'm not alone in my feelings on this one. There is so much to admire in this company but we're being led a merry dance on this particular issue at the moment.

Now looks like Mon 16th at the earliest for partner approval. Whilst I accept this always looked liked a delaying mechanism to cover groundwork 'synergies' it really does stretch credibility to expect PI's to accept a one month delay for all party's to put pen to paper. Completely ridiculous I'm afraid SOU.

Not expecting to start a fan club because of this opinion but the company invited me to back them further at .466 and I was expecting a flow of results by now so I'm obviously not happy. They have had plenty of time for T-45.

That's fine I'm definitely not claiming to speak for the majority just stating that if as it appears the strategy is not to release results for one well at the time then I'd like to know. The reason being this is unusual and I can't understand any possible reasoning other than the geo-political speculation. If we have to wait until all the wells are in and the SP continues on it's current trajectory then sub 0.2 could be optimistic.

Right here it is Yellow Jersey and Zaza if the intention is to release all results in one go rather than each play at a time like anyone else would, please please please make this explicit so we can all handle our holdings on a level playing field. That is come back in two months when the SP is sub 0.2. Make no mistake that is where it's going if that is your strategy, I think the bloodbath could start today which is almost preferable to the death by thousand cuts.

The Prod - unless we get some positive flow rates soon it's going to take an usually spectacular episode of 'Holiday' to get me out there. Whatever happened to 'Holiday'? Good title, to the point, bring it back BBC. Perhaps some good can come from this terrible mess...

It's a shame the zinc price has fallen back to where it was this time last year. Does anyone know if and why the demand has dropped off so much?

Bladey do you know exactly what the provenance for the 'release all at the same time' comment. I've seen it mentioned before here but wondered who heard it and what their feelings are? For me if the results are positive then they'd surely release them as they come in. I can't see any justification for waiting for them all unless to par a negative with a positive.

NLTS don't you agree that even if you take 60 days from the 8th of May RNS then we're slightly overdue now? If you're factoring in the 'approx' caveat then fair enough.
