I appreciate this is tragic as I find myself analysing these pics with the same intensity that generations of Beatles fans have gazed at the Abbey Road cover but do any Google Earth experts know if the access road is coming in from the north because there doesn't seem to be much activity behind them. I'm hoping a 180 degree pan would reveal a mass of activity to justify those high viz vests. Also think they should have gone for the Tory / Price George from Blackadder power stance.

Lemonade I should stay off the pop if I were you! :) Truth is who knows, if it turns out the news flow on T-45 mirrors the UD-2 method (string out the bombshell) then you might get your 16p. Nowt to do with charts but EWT results. For an eternity the rampers and optimists (the latter including me) hoped no news was good news on UD-2, a bad result couldn't be suppressed, has to be reported etc etc. Well it wasn't so for all we know T-45 could already be all over. I don't think so though, at least I hope not - there I go again. Do I get a LTH deramper certificate?

Cracking for folk buying in the 8's & 9's who will find themselves locked in indefinitely as the cosy deal gets flipped on the next rise? Not saying there isn't a long term investment case but you can see why the Directors aren't bothering to risk their own skin in the game yet.

A Bloomberg article suggesting that producers of light sweet crude could indeed increasingly find themselves in the sweetspot as international regulations over consumption of sulphur heavy oils (shipping is a biggy) are clamped down on. Critically almost two thirds of the world's crude production is in 'medium sour' and 'sour' grades and as Zaza loves to emphasise we are flowing the good stuff. This is not one for the future, this is happening now and we are producing now.

Soobs - you've been around here for a while so you'll understand that I care and many others like me. PA (and I pray I will never have to allude to it again) was RNS'd as a condition for agreement on the location for TE-9. We now have an announcement that Sound Energy are proceeding with groundworks with no reference to the partners so what are we to make of that? JP once stated how every RNS is scrutinised by the lawyers so this isn't a simple oversight. Sound and Schlumberger seem to be in concord but something else is amiss.

I do think the naysayers have scored a hit on this issue (which is a mere skirmish within a greater battle). But if you're going to make 'PA' (I can't bear to type it again) a RNS then it has to be definitively announced that it has been achieved, and it hasn't - discuss...

No probs mate - reading back my post does look a bit prickly, so sorry for that. I think part of the frustration is the sense that partner approval / TE-10 civil work synergies seem to be a convenient justification for the slow bicycle race. Of course we are a more complex company now and the stakes get higher with every move in this end game so trying to take deep breaths etc etc. I think JP once gave some stats out about the scale of the catering operation at TE-7 or TE-8 which gave another slant on the size of the operation. Throw them some raw meat until we get some gas I say!

Jim forgive me if you didn't intend to sound condescending but if I could just defend those of us who didn't take a civil engineering degree (no need for caps by the way) before investing here, I think you'll find nobody is questioning the complex requirements for such things as water and generators (really!) on site but the interminable wait for the sodding work to start after the announcement that they knew where it would be.

ODR I don't know what the figures are today re. sells v buys but there are many other factors that can lead the market down when technically there are more buys than sells - sentiment being one of them. That leads me to my biggest gripe with FRR since the now notorious Christmas comments. We had a mistrusted company that appeared to have turned the corner and against a wave of trolling a campaign was put in motion to resurrect our fortunes. Now it's not all bad and I strongly believe Zaza can still deliver but no-one in their right mind could argue that the UD-2 result wasn't surpressed, result? We are now back to square one on sentiment and the perceived trustworthiness of the business. If the delay on T-45 turns out to be another case of bad news having to be dragged out of them then we're going straight back to where we were this time last year.

Fair enough ODR, that's a decent defence - the buck stops with Zaza and I agree it's obvious the situation at UD-2 should have been made public long ago though it goes without saying they'll have wriggle room, work has been ongoing and so on.

Yes a lot of positives but the big disappointment is that they continued to throw money at UD-2 when my suspicion is they new about the well condition all along. We can only guess the degree to which that decision was influenced by Zaza's extravagant promises but the fact is (with benefit of hindsight etc....) it has turned out o be a bad call. It is now clear as day that they buried that bad news for months while waiting for the positives on the oil, the market suggests it leaked anyway. One last thing, I make and stand by my own decisions so I'm not blaming the fiction factory we read day in, day out here but everyone who contributed to spinning stories of radio silence on the gas due to geo-political movements, super giant majors sniffing around etc should be at least a little ashamed of themselves today.

Odd to think but wouldn't it be strange if the gallows humour that Zaza meant Christmas 2018 for the pressies begins to look optimistic. Even odder that's just jogged my memory that 'Zaza' was a character in the children's book 'Asterix and Caesar's Gift' - it's all becoming clear....... (picture goes fuzzy accompanied by harp music).

Must say I thought the opening gambit about Twitter came across as abrupt if not rude - not being sanctimonious as I know it's not easy to get email humour right, but if it was intended as read I'm amazed he replied. If CH does ever log in here - fair play for rising above it but shareholder value asap please!!
