.... it has got to the point where investors deserve an update on all on operations across the board regardless of the exact position of each well. Now that .40 has finally given away the SP is likely to tumble anyway, the chart looks horrendous. Personally and obviously selfishly I want to know where I stand so I can make a decision on whether to bale and protect my dwindling profit or stand by the work programme that I invested in regardless of the SP. I'm genuinely getting no pleasure in possibly agitating folk who may be heavily underwater but this is an honest statement of my feelings (and I suspect many others), just hope this unrest filters through to the powers that be!

Given the market reaction to the timescales I can't see this holding above the placing price unless they've got something up their sleeve in the meantime. The RNS was fine but really an invitation for traders to disappear and come back in the autumn. As an investor and believer in the project I'll be adding but I don't see this as the bottom yet.

I think sentiment is suffering because of the lack of clarity on UD-2. Yes the extended testing 'programme' officially started on 21st of April but they were still in the clean-out phase at the time of the announcement (8th May). We still don't know when or if the clean-out was completed and the extended test of flow rates commenced. I have no practical experience of the industry but since the case of SOU's TE-7 was cited earlier I note that a post-stimulation flow rate was issued prior to the commencement of the extended well test. The fact we haven't had this here along with the blurring of the clean out and extended testing is starting to make me nervous. Not a de-ramp just my genuine feelings, happy to hear sensible rebuttals!

I haven't been so disappointed by a location since discovering that 'Carry On Up The Khyber' was actually filmed in Snowdonia.

Don't forget that after the final phase of seismic there will of course be the epilogue phase, which could go on a bit as well.

The problem for LTH's like me harbouring distant hopes of ever seeing our investment back is what happens when all this excitement is over? When the battle for the boardroom is done will it just sink back to the 6.5 to 7.5 range or is there anything more substantial behind this rise - IRC financing, POX hub coming online? It's clear from the sells piling in on each rise that many are cutting their losses now, but if this continues up to the 29th there could be an opportunity (for folk with an av similar to mine) to exit with a substantial free carry still in play.

My letter was simply urging me to support the current board and vote via my account management of my online broker or instruct them on the phone. Do you hold share certificates Lawrence? I'm actually really torn as to how to vote, my biggest fear at the moment is POG getting taken private at these knockdown levels, wasn't Deniskin behind a similar manoeuvre at ENRC? One thing I'm certain of I don't want Sir Wodewic back, I know he was the ambassador and must have contacts but I'd love to know what he actually ever did practically to justify having his nose in the trough.

Well I can trace my tale of woe back to Aug 2010 when I had the brilliant idea of taking a profit at Antofagasta and put it all into gold with POG, both were just over �10. Now ANTO hovers over �11 (pathetic!) and POG.... not so much. Still the 5p rights issue leaves me with an average just over 19p so maybe, just maybe...

Keep reminding myself that these gains could disappear as quickly as they have arrived but I have a way to go to reach my average. I think the only investing mistake I haven't made over the years with this soap opera is participating in the share issue all those years ago. My question is now, does anyone know whats going on? I'm guessing this can't be simply operational or funding factors, could the market be anticipating a fight for shares between the warring parties or has it started?? If this is the case then the PI's that hold their nerve the longest could be showered in riches, equally it could all fizzle out and the thing gets taken private at an orchestrated knockdown price and we all get showered in *&it!! It's going to be emotional....

Just about a positive outlook for me - they don't exactly sound confident about PG-11A but caution is the right tone in the circumstances. Turning down 10 we knew about but it does add to the jitters as it could be interpreted as concern about that well. Interesting to see the frustration with the authorities expressed so forcibly in a RNS, normally I'd see that as a very dangerous game but to be fair understandable. The downside is they've left themselves open to the interpretation that the sluggishness is hampering investment in our immediate future and raising the stakes over the importance of the IPPC permit to the strategic review. Again nothing that hasn't been discussed here but coming from the top there is a risk it could be counter-productive, no bureaucrat is going to be seen to be acting on that sort of pressure.

Sorry Mike but I had to make the point in the wider shareholders interest. Just a bit of lateral (or rather linear) thinking. Good to see some smiles around here again!

All this talk of 20" pipe doesn't impress me - why not use longer sections thus saving on welding jobs? Will be emailing JP immediately.

Thanks for taking it in the right spirit, just a bit of gallows humour, would have been good to see the COS rise on an independent report but a few % here and there isn't going to affect the outcome.

Patience Wh0sthedaddy we just need to finish analysing the analysis of the analysis, then get everyone round the table for a chin-wag and then sidetrack TE-8 - these things take time.

Got to be honest, if on the 26th April you communicate, "The Company believes that further work may de-risk the first well and the chance of success may increase on positive results from the seismic processing and geological studies" and over a month later the CPR is exactly the same then it doesn't look great. I assume RPS Energy had updated information from the latest seismic as otherwise there wouldn't be any point having the second report, could have dropped I suppose.

I wasn't around at the time of the YA agreement but assume it must have been the only deal on the table. Yes it's been a painful millstone but wouldn't we have collapsed as a going concern without it? Like I said I don't know the exact circumstances so happy to be corrected but I suppose it was a lifeline but on pernicious terms.
