Could QIA essentially be saying they are staying with Remainco, and this sale is to simply reduce shares to keep overall stake in Remainco the same as they had originally?

Or they are simply unwinding and the showers know this so will feel they can easily buy back when they need to? I have no grip on what is going on.

This looks like an outright buy to me, not part of the fundraising. Excellent news imo.

I've increased holding by 20% this morning. Once this dust settles, imo, the Remainco portion will be a much more valuable proposition.

This is a key announcement and will mean shorts cannot pile in knowing they have a ready way to buyback.

I disagree. SP of Remainco should go up. No dilution and no drag caused by the big unknown that was cash consuming ingenuity.

Much easier for the city to value divisions that remain. A bid for nutrition or beauty is now more likely imo.

Until split completion and details are flushed out. After that I personally expect a sharp rerate of Remainco. Newco will likely be taken private by MM and his chums.

I'm okay with this. Newco carries much greater risk and reward. I just don't want anymore involvement and this split allows that. As a PI, now that I've digested all the info available, I'm feeling reassured there is light visible at the endo of this very long tunnel. Atb and imo etc

So neither ramping nor the view that BOO is doomed is actually helping the debate.

It is clear to me that the executives got the strategy wrong and the US investment was a blunder. Probably why the SP went as low as 26p. But at least they have taken action to stem the losses and that is encouraging. Doesn't excuse the initial mistake but does mean a line can be drawn and move forward.

Selling assets to remedy balance sheet seems to be on the cards and the company have signalled as much so not really sure why this is being disputed so much. My view is the market finds that reassuring and the SP is making a slow recovery coinciding with shorts reducing. Again these are facts so one can debate reasons but not that this is occurring.

Results will be poor i think and reflect where the the SP fell to. However, BOO have considerable assets and a business with established brands and a large turnover. If they can provide along with results a credible forward plan i expect the market will re-rate the SP accordingly. This is a big if, but i am encouraged by the recent changes that suggests past lessons have been heeded. ATB and IMO so DYOR etc.

225 is top end as it stands. Original investor institutions will need to take a hair cut imo. As long as the founder remains as ceo and continues this vendetta with the city, there is little hope of additional value. Imo

If there is better governance there will be massive value. However MM is wanting his cake and to eat it currently and has dug his heels in. Us PIs are stuck. Potential jam tomorrow keeps most going but for how long?
