Imo, given the numbers that vote, anything close to 40% and MA will have effective control in any company proposal put to a vote. Even less of he can persuade the IIs that he represents the best option for value gain.

Novice, I'm also gutted about keeping faith in the catastrophe that has unfolded here. MM has let everyone down including his staff. The only person walking away whistling I'm all right chap is MM. Imo.

MS has connections which make him invaluable in the world of advertising. Hopefully he will move to a more ambassadorial role and leave operations day to day to someone younger and more business oriented. Hopefully.

Debt levels unchanged and long term facilities give significant headroom are the silver linings. Revenue decline in disappointing and as I mentioned yesterday, cost savings from headcount reduction has a lag period before costs reduction is seen on balance sheet. 2025 was always the turnround year. Patience is key and I will add if it drops. Atb

2025 was always the turnround point. It takes time for staff number reduction to unwind and start saving costs that are meaningful. We will all need to be patient.

With operations mostly in the US, and a stronger dollar, hopefully a bid will appear. All speculation of course but you would think US private equity will start hoovering cheap (relatively speaking) assets in Europe. Imo

Nothing will move until circular details are released. Trust in THG's current management is poor and there is the issue of Ingen value relative to RemainCO. As it is currently pegged, any SP over 49 makes transfers more value to Ingen relatively speaking. So there is little chance of any significant SP shift until the details and timing of split is confirmed. IMO.

Very interesting indeed. Some impressive corporate heavyweights on board. Would be foolish to not give them due respect and take note. PE companies have deep pockets and are prowling for targets in the undervalued UK market. This sounds like a massive moment. Probably the reason for the split as MM knows his days of controlling the group are numbered and has IMO made a deal to keep hold of Ingen which is his pet project whilst stepping away from the day to day management of RemainCo. I am hopeful PI's will soon get some much needed relief.

This is not a bad plan at all. Re-branding as Debs will allow a fresh start but with an already familiar household name. Exactly what MA probably has in mind. Only a matter of time imo, before MA is in charge.
