TheNothern, I accept MA will pay as little as he can get away with. He is a businessman not a charity. That doesn't mean he will not turnaround the business and improve value.

What have the current management managed? How much worse can MA do? Exactly. I'm willing to take a chance on someone with a successful track record.

I am yet to read a cogent argument made for why we should trust the Kamani clan after all the value destruction or why MA would not do a good job here.

I am an ordinary PI. Hard earned cash invested in boohoo. I started at 165p so its been a long period of torture.

MA undoubtedly has his agenda. I am so fed up with the current lot that tbh, I don't really think MA could possibly do worse. So whatever his agenda, it's MA for me. Has a track record of sustained success unlike the current lot.

My average is currently 42p. I'll be happy to accept 40p to get out of this nightmare. Atb

Smells of panic. What happened to the initial strategy of selling assets to clear debt. Dilution is not it the interest of shareholders. My votes go to MA too.

Alex, Teaming up with Shein is my bet. MA gets Debs and a seat on the new board to further enhance synergies with Frasers and Shein gets brands, distribution network in the UK and provides a vehicle for FTSE 100 listing moving from AIM. All IMO but stars are aligning. The financial clout of MA and Shein will kill off any shenanigans from the current BOO board. I am just surprised an offer hasn't already been made. Ideally i suspect they wanted both BOO and ASOS rolled into one but ASOS board moved early to safeguard themselves.

The market seems to be ascribing so little value here that one could be misled into thinking imminent default is due. This is clearly not so from recent results. Fwiw, i have continued to add to my holding as these prices allow me to accumulate at a significant discount to the directors and II's. The low SP may well force some much needed change like accelerated cost cutting and hopefully the removal of the 'golden share' which is a aberration in a listed stock IMO. The golden share should not be allowed with an individual. I understand companies of significant national importance such as RR where the government holds a golden share. But private individuals should not imo and i hope this goes. ATB and let's hope for a change in fortune.

Some sort of reassurance from the board that they are conscious of shareholder concerns about this SP decline would be appreciated. Further Director buys maybe will go some way to reassure.

Nobody is begrudging the man a holiday. The timing is terrible given it ought to be all hands to the pump with getting the circular out. Sort out the mess and then by all means go on holiday etc. He is the CEO right? He choses to dictate direction and has overseen a monumental fall in SP. But somehow, he acts like Robin hood and a victim...IMO.

Yorek, I am finally being rational. If my company was with its back to the wall, a holiday would be out of the question. Family would be entirely understanding of why. Unless of course one lives in a delusional bubble with fawning disciples around them chanting songs of praise.

Thg is falling apart and rudderless. So the ceo decides a holiday is a good idea. And the reason is half term and he is a family man? Heaven help us PIs with a ceo this committed to the job. Atb to long suffering shareholders. Remember, be kind....he is a family man after all.

My protein and beauty are recognised and established brands. Once divested from the ingenuity unknown, can be properly valued. Only then will we truly know value. Until then, sit tight and wait. Imo

These were at 45. Keep in mind they are 30% down too. I am optimistic because that the directors have a stake and will have had reasons to buy at 45. It can feel gloomy at times but share price can sometimes be sentiment driven rather than reflect true value.

Imo, these are times when one adds, not sells.

Ntl101, i don't think it is that simple - no tech company will have the advertising know how and creativity required to make successful campaigns - marrying tech and the knowledge and skills is a unique proposition. I don't think tech companies will want to invest in creating something they can 'hire' as needed, even if they are more than capable of creating the tech part if they wish to.

It may well be that SMS is right about tech spend on advertising is lagging behind expectations. Where i feel they may have dropped the ball is anticipating and right sizing the workforce - which they seem to be belatedly doing by headcount reduction. I am adding steadily and yes i am committed way more now than i would like - i am more optimistic about 2025-26 than others. ATB

I suspect anyone with short positions will be needing to exit sharpish.
