Easy way for 5hem to make money.
Not giving advice. I am happy to add steady amounts and will continue to drip feed here. Lord knows when inflection will happen, but imo it will. Buying when there is carnage has served me well. Clearly I don't think this company is going bust. If you do stay away of course.
Especially for short haul? Bodes well for alternative options.

Fwiw, I feel MA eyeing up Asos makes sense as it is complimentary to SD. Not really sure this is something Qatar would want to do. Just my opinion. Either way, it looks like the city has decided the tide has turned and asos share price will get back up to something more reasonable. Atb
Having held TLW through the pandemic, i sold at mid 30's only to see it nearly double from there. Amazed its back down here. Have taken a small position again at 22.35 yesterday. Fingers crossed the slide has stopped. Seems a lot of PI's had the same idea! ATB
Bit late seeing this news. Very pleased with the steady accumulation of contracts. This work is being bid for knowing where inflation is so should make plenty of room for margins. I am amazed the SP has not already passed 100p but imo, it is only time before the market rerates to where it should be. ATB
Just read this. It was raised and sorted with the auditor. EY auditors were doing their job and it simply highlights the problems with separation of 3 intertwined parts of the business. Importantly, they've signed off on it. All good.
Shares in Boohoo were up 6 per cent in afternoon trading, cutting their decline over the past year to 48 per cent. The “main surprise is the balance sheet”, according to analysts at Peel Hunt, with net cash of £5.9mn versus their net debt forecast of £55mn, and consensus closer to £70mn.
Something does not smell right here. I have added 3 tranches to my initial investment. At 490, 450 and 385. Happy to load up at these levels. Crazy this SP but happy to take advantage and lower my average by a lot!! ATB and this is not advice, just sharing my thoughts and what I am doing .
We're right back to pre offer levels. Well done to anyone who sold at 100+. I did not. Hindsight is a wonderful tool but I got into this share for the investment value not to trade. Sour grapes? Possibly. I would have been better trading. Instead of being about 50% in profit, I am down a tad. Anyway, I hope this turns round. Twice now I failed to bank a 50%+ profit, not sure I will be so steadfast next time. My bad. ATB.
I know it did not go to plan, but what really has changed? I did not invest in this company because I expected Apollo would buy it. I was in long before. The reasons I invested haven't changed a jot. Still a company with huge potential and Sum of Parts, much greater than current value. That hasn't changed. The doom chat on here is a bit too much tbh. Let's take stock (no pun intended!). And face it, thus is a first world problem. Let's chill and have a beer. Atb
To counter the previous post in the DT, another inthe same paper, more positive for housebuilders....
'This is key to understanding why there hasn't so far been a bigger correction in house prices. Rising unemployment is almost always accompanied by forced selling, rendering property a buyer's market.
But again, it hasn't happened. To the contrary, wage growth in the private sector has been running at more than 7pc, so that relative to earnings, house prices are now more affordable than they were at the peak last August.'
