This gradual rise is so much more preferable to the roller coaster ride after a takeover approach. Feels more organic due to improving macro and performance. Hopefully we will keep going without a significant retrace. Excellent 2 weeks so far. Gla
Ade, you believe what you want. I have added and will continue to drip feed. Worked well for me as a strategy as I hold for a 5-6 year cycle and not here for a trade. Atb and do whatever is right for you. Definitely do not take anything I say here as advice.
I've added more at 969. Absolutely ridiculous price. But, when opportunity knocks and all that. My Ave is now a tad over 11. I'm personally very grateful for this opportunity having missed the early pandemic dip.
Not advice and dyor etc.
Anacottsteel, that really is the most bizarre offer from Apollo if true. Given 170 was rejected as undervaluing the company, how on earth did they think circa 95 was going to be accepted? Surely a mistake and they would not have the cheek to do this!
Sorry, i don't get it. Why would BOO drop when a company it owns 27% in is rising fast? I don't get the connection. As far as i can see, BOO's investment in RevB is doing just fine and may do even better.
I do agree the shenanigans need to stop and they need to declare a truce and work things out for mutual benefit. ATB
Boo own near a third of RevB - which has increased in value by about 50% in a week, and BOO shares fall? Bonkers. Whatever happens, BOO has made a very astute investment in RevB. Why would they not want to maximise their potential. I too am frustrated by the handbags clash that seems to be playing out, but where the market values BOO is close to ridiculous. IMO
100% agree. ADNOC contract is a huge psychological barrier. Not being able to bid for projects in the largest O&G arena was a massive block - which is now removed. Onwards. I am genuinely surprised SP hasn't breached 100 already. IMO and DYOR etc.
Same. Long since written off my investment here. Ho hum. I've learned a lesson or two. Could have got out with double my investment but got greedy. Anyway, hope everyone invested is ok.
Whatever the outcome for RevB, surely iits a win for boo.
Corporate drama aside, for boo shareholders it's going to be fine. Many will have a stake in both companies so I can understand mixed feelings.
Revb board is full of rather optimistic predictions despite their ceo reporting the possibility of another suspension shortly.
Risky stuff for revb. Not so for boo.
