I've added too at 21.5 earlier today. It's taken sfor to 20% of my holding which is more than I'd like but sometimes one has to take opportunities on offer. Time will tell if this was clever or foolish.

Valuation will happen at a more sensible price than current SP. This will be a value added merger. SP will react positively imo. Muted yesterday as the rns was (?deliberately) vague. Once details emerge and maybe flush out other offers, we will see a good response. Patient holders will be happy. Try and ignore the garage of fud in the meantime.

But let's see what the story is at the end of the week.

No longer is there a case to hold onto short positions. Just these winding up will sort out the SP to more reasonable levels.

Rumour is confirmed. PE involvement is great news for capital injection. Keeping MS in charge was always likely to keep this on track given the golden share scenario. Lots to unravel yet. The coming weeks will be interesting. Atb folk.

42p is a non starter. They will come with a realistic offering. Currently S4 do not need to do a fire sale so speculative cheap bids will get shown the door quickly.

Multiple bids will spice it up even more.

A PE takeover and maybe a merger may well have a better chance than the Stagwell bid. This could involve a majority stake rather than a buyout and possibly leave MS in place as Chairman? Zero debt and a move to a US listing etc.

Will be difficult to ignore. Price is anyone's guess. My guess is it will not be north of 1 pound, but close to it. The world has changed since the IPO.

Moulding is clearly a superb innovator and built the company. But he is also clearly impetuous and not the stable hand that is needed for a listed company.

Sadly as good as he is, he is not Bezos or Musk, even if his ego is just as big.

He does need to step back to allow his baby to grow. Imo

Not entirely sure of this holding prices for customer loyalty. We heard this through the period when the Ukrainian war started and food prices soared. Moulding seems to have forgotten it did not work then. Modern customer is fickle. Imo
