Possibly a proportion may sell up. Most people get into it for rentals and retirement income not capital gain (although this is a bonus). So not sure selling due to CGT rise makes logical sense.

Second homes are a lifestyle thing and often inherited. Again capital growth isn't a primary goal.

The government will have modelled the impact on housing and if they still go ahead, I assume must feel this will not lead to damage to housebuilding. They have promised to build many many more houses so will not want to damage this central policy objective. Imo

Give them a chance? The market has only just started to pick up. Once revenues flow, so will the divi's IMO. Having held through the dark times, why sell at dawn when the the midday sun awaits?!!

I have said this before, my money is staying put right here. What's not to like? lots of capital upside and good divi. Just stick it an ISA envelope before the govt get their hands on it!

Being tough with suppliers shows management are being focused on costs and quality. Reducing returns is key to recovery. I'm rather pleased this is being sorted.

Boohoo is in a stand-off with suppliers after the struggling fast-fashion seller withheld payments over claims the quality of clothing was too poor.
