Just read the full article. No way this is speculation. There is too much detail IMO for this to be mere gossip. SP has been languishing for a while. This is a new development and comes on the back of the US decision suggesting a change in strategic direction and an acceptance that the pandemic high got them giddy and they overspent on acquisitions.

Boot is now on the other foot and M Ashley is breathing down their necks itching to take over the prize assets. So do they sell out to him or do an ASOS? not sure but MA was stung by ASOS so may well move before Kamani and co.

Whatever the eventual outcome, the SP will IMO react positively over the next few weeks. Watch for those stops being taken out folk.

One may marvel at his unshackled lion credentials but in reality, he has overseen a catastrophic downturn in value with the promised land looking further away than ever. I have 1/8 of my portfolio invested here so have a stake. My own fault I know but I too was susceptible to the lure of potential. Good lesson learnt. Founders do not always make the best CEO.

At these levels, I am content to add and hold for a while until MM sells or hives out a portion. This is now below Kelso's average too so I assume most other funds are also under water. Pressure will force a change imo.
