Yes I afree Griffin. I fully expect an irrational reaction to the inevitable bad news and cost overrun that looks to be coming our way from Ramadan. Ridiculous, but at least it might offer offer up cheap shares.

I think I am going to have to top up shortly too. This valuation is madness. At the current price it's valued at about £90m. They will probably generate that much in free cash in about 2.5 years. Mental.

5800boe/d! Surely with SD coming on line 8000boe/d will be exceeded but quite some margin. Still the market doesn't care though. I remember the last results SDX announced higher production than the market was expecting and the share price didn't react at all.

By about mid point of next year SDX will have increased the 2017 exit rate of circa 3500boe/d to probably somewhere around the 10,000boe/d mark. A tripling of production (obviously all boe's are not created equally but still). Conceivably production could then be around the 18,000boe/d mark by the end of 2019/early 2020.

Have you seen the gas price though? It's been absolutely rampaging. It's currently at US$4.30/mcf! I know this won't help SDX all that much in Egypt, the Egyptians are tight gits and it looks like US$2.65/mcf is set in stone at the moment. However, I wonder if it will help SDX negotiate higher gas prices for new contracts? The bottled stuff that is on sale there must surely have to go up in price eventually if the gas price stays at current levels or increases further. We could be looking at US$14+/mcf for newer contracts perhaps and certainly even more potential customers for SDX trying to avoid higher bottled gas costs.

You can't say that with any certainty. This certainly didn't go up with the price of oil, despite the fact SDX will have made a lot more money at $70+ oil and the oil price has only really been crashing down for a few weeks really. This share trades very very strangely. Any attempt to explain why it behaves the way it does is really just conjecture, even my gaps!

Call me Shakes, it's fine. Perhaps a merger but would that fit PW MO? I guess the management and share structure after the merger would have to suit him.

They aren't going to make 75kboe/d entitlement production by end of next year without a very large acquisition. They'd have to make discoveries and hook them in to production and produce gross about 270kboe/d as they only get a circa 25% of gross production. Are you mad?
