Is this primarily a paper change to help facilitate progression on the ground/greater good/separation of roles between group companies to allow for best interests to be progressed? Does Asia energy still hold the license?

Nowhere does it say that China is out. The article represents everyone's view except for the view of China. China won't roll over. I think we can all take guess at who is disrupting the LNG shipments.

More so, and more relevant to GCM, if the US wins this economic battle, Phulbari is still the gem resource of Bangladesh. All of the counties around Bangladesh need coal, the US needs coal. All it would mean is that this initiative is opperated by the US or there is US PE involvement. Either way, the coal cannot stay in the ground and Yunus cannot stay in power while failing to deliver.

This last part is very interesting.

It will be interesting to see what happens to press freedom when the BNP start to publicly say - this isn't acceptable anymore and you're in breach of the rules that have put you in this trusted position.

Plans to implement which strategies? He's ask for short/medium/long term plans, but without a goal and a strategy, the different departments have no overarching guiding vision.

How is that a pillar of strateegy building. They need conventional thinking lol. They are currently delivering unconventional strategies, such gems as rolling blackouts, crippling budget deficits, horrible FX situation. They need economics basics, not out of the box thinking.

It's really frustrating to read this because this cannot form part of any departments strateegy. Remain vigilant? Seriously. Everyone knows that power delivery is currently interrupted. How will remaining vigilant suddenly make it uninterrupted.

None of this should be completed by an interim government, the fact that it is being done without a guiding goal or overarching outcome, it's mind blowing.

The BNP must be seething seeing these half baked 'reform' policies being pushed by a interim government who is doing everything other than what they should be doing, which is calling an election.
