The only reason I have mentioned that is in response to barnards trite suggestion to me .and since the begining of this crisis countering the constant pathetic attacks saying I have changed my view because I have sold.I still hold,the situation has changed significantly although many on this board aim to stifle anything that may not fit their hopes.mc has pretty much confirmed most of the links I have posted.No mention of it being the fault of the dark forces I note. Seems to me that Bezell has been pretty on the button and taken plenty of flak too. Should we have a sanitised bb to suit the loyal or desperate ?I havnt criticised mc or cnr.some on here need to get real imo.

I suggest you worry about your own investments.I have re invested in arcm and am topping up in crypto and hold a much reduced holding here.waiting for the right opportunity to possibly re buy here should the news improve or the price drop considerably.sp is down over 30 per cent since I sold.it is an investment,hopefully I am doing what is sensible.Good luck for your strategy .

Frenchie,Not sure a guy saying he is looking forward to a nice big new house through the re-settlement is that useful any more .But a video showing largescale co operation between cnr and the local community,And the ongoing projects with the community would be useful.

Until nicaragua becomes calm it is hard to know where anything is heading as far as I can see.but as Yoou know wg ,I advocate buying when share price is low if you are confident.Thats where money is made not buying at the top.I am not sufficiently confident yet that the sp has hit bottom or that the outlook is improving so I remain cautious with a much reduced holding.

Yes not very complicated. Everything positive mr red positive. Things get ugly ,mr red sells 2/3 rds of holding and not so positive. Things are positive ,mr goals moans about company,ceo,pr. Things get ugly,mr goals positive ,accusatory and desperate.

Yes good pr.I would suggest that a pr video of all the good things cnr has done to benefit the community would be useful.showing the extent of work and level of support we have . Pictures paint a thousand words as they say.if there are such videos perhaps we could have links posted.I certainly hope that any mine does benefit the community as much as possible.they will have to live there after the mine has ceased to be economic after all which I believe is one of the valid concerns.

I am sure there are all kinds of things going on now.But everybody except the police and telesur accept that the authorities are responsible for the murders that turned things.unfortunately in these situations once the powder keg is lit there is no telling where it will lead.it is pretty much accepted that the police are in ortegas pocket and have blamed criminal elements for everything just as ortega and murillo have.As in many places the end result could be much worse than the status quo.that is why I hope he goes soon and hopefully there is a movement for peace and reconcilliation,but it cannot be a foregone conclussion.

Is the fact it was more than a protest re assuring and the fact that cnr were slow to release the information re assuring? 1 year is hardly ancient history,we have been waiting for permits 2 years and nica is in protest mode.I have no clue if it will affect cnr but there has to be a possibility. anyhow,there is much going on in nicaragua presently and no matter what news sources one believes ,at least every one here now seems to appreciate there is a very serious situation unlike 6 weeks ago.Lets hope as mc alludes to, that ortega stands down soon and peace prevails.Mc does appear to have gone out on a limb on that one which surprises me somewhat. From reading about the largescale protests against b2 there are a lot of accusations of the police being used in a political way .stopping protestors reaching their destinations,detaining illegally ,beatings etc. It is not inconcievable to me that there will be bad feeling attached to the charges even if they were aborted.Is it true that as in other protests elsewhere people blockaded the school ? Is the present climate in nicaragua a positive one for a pc.not convinced on that one.of course there will be locals in favour ,there will be some against also but nica is in a fairly militant mood it seems presently. All eyes on ortega I guess. Out of interest do we know or have proof of the extent of the criminal damage?not the best pr but does suggest there is opposition.

Kinda sounds like carrot and stick.conversely why should locals trust words when other companies fail to live up to promises? It is only a year since cnr were trying to prosecute protestors after all.

In your opinion is this all a soft american led coup ,and as telesur have stated,are ortega and associated forces not responsible for the murders that have set off these events ? i am minded that protestors have ak wounds and protestors have home made weapons.All reports I see apart from state owned telsur and rt are pretty consistent,along with the human rights organisations.

I am surprised at mc being quite so candid about the stituation. It is crystal clear the ortega regime is over. Opposition has been systematically dismantled It probably enhances the grant of permits. Surprising words to use if you are dealing with this regime in regard to permitting. The comment about permits doesnt sound to me like we are in a progressing situation but happy to be wrong.no mention of its progression. The sooner there is agreement on new elections the better I guess.

Lol.I am no great investor ,Been burned more than a few times but have learnt along the way, the hard way that there's no prizes on aim for blind loyalty.Not very often any way.Still believe cnr is a well run company .I want the dust to settle before rebuying. Good luck all .

My posting history shows no negative comments prior to the protests .It seems pretty reasonable to be more negative because the situation has become more risky.Doesn't mean all is lost but the risk is considerably greater certainly in the short term.I am not fussed at all about buying back presently.I sold at 51p.they are over 30 per cent cheaper now.i have re invested most of my cnr cash elsewhere now and in good profit.I have always traded some of my shares and held longterm shares.i still have some longterm but have reduced considerably. My links are about the situation there and it is negative.mc swift action recently is a positive of sorts.the share price is a positive imo as I expected the share price to drop much lower .presumably the extra information has been submitted so news on permits could be positive.we still have excellent large investors. We draw our own conclussions from the situation.i have avoided a 30 plus per cent loss on most of my cnr shares and sitting on a good profit elsewhere from proceeds.i am happy with my call ,good luck with yours.
