Anyhow, you and the rest of the posse beef started from my position that the deal would not finalise when predicted, the drilling would not start in April, may, June, July, aug, sep, Oct! Combined with working out cash burn and stating two highly discounted raises would be arriving. Very basic investing maths that none of you did or agreed with.

That is the basis of your “beef” an inability to accept that someone you have trashed was correct snd that basically you will nasty your way out.

Re averages , I have stated for 6 years or more here that my strategy is to aquire more shares by trading. Legal decided he was going to take me down. Trouble is not only can legal not work out cash burn he cannot work out the maths of an average. You guys insisted the platform tells you your average. It absolute does if you only buy shares but absolutely doesn’t if you sell and rebuy. I t would take me an age to correctly work out my real average because I have thousands of shares. However even someone with challenged maths should realise that if you sell some shares and rebuy more shares for no increased outlay your real average has decreased. And in theory you can add some extra cash and still not an increase your real average.

If I sold my 5 p shares at 40 p which incidentally I did with a few and re buy them all at 20 p your platform now uses 20 p for the calc however I would hold twice as many shares for no extra cash. Twice as many shares than I held at 5 p average but platform says 20 p average. The caveat being , all my shares are in isa so no tax. If they were not tax protected the scenario would be different.

As regards trading, I have done pretty well here and elsewhere trading . I enjoy it and find it successful but I wouldn’t advise it for idiots!

I never said it’ll guaranteed be 1m plus I said a potential 1m plus. But yeh I’ll have a month off or you do if a resource estimate doesn’t come for Apta by end of Jan.

I would like to revisit some of his deluded replies to me from 6 years ago but can’t be bothered to trawl that far back to the laughable valuations derived from buritticca, an 11 m iz 3.6 m in reserves and fully funded mostly built mine. Yes 30 m oz elephants were close 5 years ago, now 201 k oz are lauded even tho 400 were predicted. Not only is he a fibber but he gets virtually nothing right just like mr legal.

I have a modest position in Rio and gradually increasing. You have given it as a comparison before I think and it is a very good one imv. They are valued at around £1 b currently. I am waiting to see what deal transpires. It is an altogether different market now to the Cnr sale so I will wait and see. Hard for me to see Mtl valued above Rio at production and possibly when an aquisition is anounced.

I like that too rio copper now and looking for another gold add on .

I am adding little bits here on pullbacks but spreading amongst a number of gold and silvers. Reckon the sector will move out of this pullback in 2nd half. Ditched most of my equinox for a bit though. Just re buying

Rio 2 is worth comparison. Now 2 asset producer. Ramping up to 100 k oz production with pathway to 300 k. Second asset in copper. Its current m cap is around £1 b.

From that I would estimate that Mtl needs second asset to be similar value. However, obviously any surge in pog changes the scenario somewhat.

Generally, would expect most producers to recover 30% or more pretty quick when pog reclaims ground.

Don’t think you can go far wrong buying most producers on rebound expectations.

Nappy, I stated 6 years ago, when dr was predicting 30 m oz elephants and mines that explo to mine build is generally 10 years, after over 6 years we have 201 k oz mre. Brad himself has stated 10 years plus. The narrative has moved from 6 years ago burittica /ggp scale mine to 201k iz toll!

As you are starting to see the toll scenario may well be a red herring and we will go to mine build which certainly will not be next year!

The year after what? The year after next? With good drilling results the narrative should and will likely move to mine build. There is a good reason why that is the usual course. Possible that some tolling may happen in the interim but the financials will show that as resource grows it makes more sense financially to build.

Pedro, yes uncalled for bashing is not constructive, just as pure blue sky posting and denying alternative views air. for Cnr holders, their history so far is a bit different to peeps who timed Mtl buys at the right time. Well done cuc etc . share price is still double the price after takeover Tbf tho! it is understandable since part payment is in the form of an iou relying on drilling that peeps may get a bit tetchy on that one. And during our 16 months here, the phillipines story has unravelled. However for me it’s an ok performance as I didn’t expect the early price rise last year.

Carefree, time hasn’t done the heavy lifting in Mtl or Cnr if you bought 15 years ago has it? Timing is the key obviously. Time didn’t do the heavy lifting at hum etc. Generally time does little heavy lifting on aim , more often big gains come in short periods. but some cases buck the trend and obviously it depends where you measure from generally! Mtl has done well in a very good market . Barring calamities, I think Cnr holders will see decent reward finally once in production and current weakness is buying op, but it is the case for many producers currently after pullbacks.

It’s not too long now to wait after all those years.
