I really would recomend this interview .

i understand well that this bb is for investors.I made a judgement to sell specifically because of the start of demonstrations.the political situation is the main issue regarding cnr in my opinion.therefore it is important to research the situation you are invested in.only a fool wouldnt.I may re buy here yet but I want to have a clear view of the situation.It seems normal to me.I have posted what most free media and the human rights groups report.
If you want to dismiss amnesty international thats up to you.
In regard to the link you posted,I am struggling to see how you reach your conclussions from it.I note you have joined two seperate paragraphs which gives a different slant.it does not lay the blame for rioting on protestors.
It does however say

from social media,barricades coming down gradually and yes they certainly arnt universally supported but have a lot of support.obviously it makes life difficult for many.there are obviously criminal elements that most likely are working for themselves.but unequivocably there are large squads of heavily armed vigilantes alonside police and riot police and suspected army snipers carrying out very vicious reprisals currently.
We each believe what we believe and time will tell .

So you dont believe that the end of Hitler,mussolini,stalin, ceausescu etc was good for the people.interesting .agreed Iraq and libya has been a disaster and I am not a fan of usa foreign policy.
Both the usa and communist powers like to deal with autocrats as they are much easier to deal with in the longterm.
Of course you couldn't say that the kurds were better off under saddam.and so it is in nicaragua.There is a very complicated set of problems.indiginous rights are trampled on along with farmers as in the canal project that was bulldosed through,the creole people have a hard time and anyone who isn't part of the gvnt structure.
Are you naive enough to think that if as appears to be happening that very serious oppression puts down the protests that nicaragua will go back to being the same as before.however this plays out it will take a long time to settle down.as you say it is hard to know which side will produce a stable nicaragua.I suspect neither.nicaragua will be more isolated if ortega prevails.
The usa is likely to become involved at some point.presently the gvnt and militias have most of the arms but the next possible phase is arms coming in for the other side.
It is quite possible that if the original protest about reforms had gone peaceably and the reforms were dropped as they were this situation may well have been avoided.It is not reasonable to shoot people in the throat when protesting.the gvnt still blames the opposition for killings that are indisputably their responsibility.
As regards cnr ,that is anyones guess and I wouldn' t be rash enough to predict where cnr stands.mc is doing all he can for sure.Do you disagree with his reading of the situation?

I think maybe yoU dont pocess half a brain then.have you viewed any of the hundreds of videos that show police ,snipers together with heavily armed civillians.or any of the live broadcasts from protests.I believe you are the vaive one.Have you viewed any videos of the survivors of the family burnt to death recently.or the recently murdered 14 month old. All of who quite clearly blame the police.I expect that protestors be allowed to protest without being murdered as is allowed for in their constitution.I trust the reports and amnesty international more than some protective numpty on a bb.

I beg to differ but on the very first day of this situation both myself and tester sold.tester all and myself large proportion.the accusations came out straight away.now I took exception to the posts surrounding patryks rather misleading posts about 8 weeks ago.many on here were predicting imminent permits on the back of a post that wouldnt even confirm whether it was an email.further posts declaring it will all be over soon etc from posters.
Any news about the situation has been greeted with distain.I think there have been many on here that were burrying their heads in the sand in regard to the situation but if just one or two holders have found anything posted useful then

If my posts are so annoying you and anyone else can filter.what have you posted in the last 2 months of any use to anyone.2 years of sniping at mc also,so I would imagine I am doing mc a favour.links can be ignored if you have no interest.However the only research currently is the situation on the ground.To me it seems pretty normal to try and find out as much as possible about what is happening to make an informed investment decision ,whether that be buying or selling.

Following things on fb,there is a major offensive going on right now.barricades coming down and some horrible repression.It is going to be a mess.The danger is like in so many places the next step is armed resistance to the authorities and militias strong arm tactics.I have seen so many videos and live feeds that make the heart heavy.I fear he will put down the protests but nicaragua will become a pariah state and usa will bring power to bear.Irrespective of the claims of cia involvement the the serious arms are in the hands of the police and paramilitary vigilantes.there are reports that some of the army eg snipers are involved too .
When you see heavily armed groups of police and vigilantes in massive convoys it is hard to see how any transition is going to happen.ortega has madura to look to .and of course there is support for ortega too.
I was surprised to see comments attributed to mc about the regime being over as It appears premature to me.
It is a horrific situation ,more killed in the last 2 months than in palestine I believe.
Personally seems a bit crass worrying about permits in the circumstances but I do only have a modest holding now.

i have spent a large part of the last few days following on social media .it looks grim.it appears to me that the regime is going full out to take control by force in many towns in a big push before any organisations arrive.whether we agree on media etc there are a huge ammount of compelling videos to view . So many of heavily armed militias in hiluxes ,some pretty horrible scenes with armed militias.I am sure there are other angles but the overwhelming force appears to be with the ortegistas.I cant see that ortega is preparing to leave .I also think it will be a long hard process of reconcilliation at the end of the process. The guys with the heavy weapons are not going to give them up in the event of an election defeat .
I have been following leon,masaya matagalpa and estreli .barracades coming down and a lot of shooting .it seems that there is a fairly widespread assault going on as we speak.truly hope your friends are safe.it is quite unsettling following it virtually live but best to try and know about where you are investing.good luck.

Do you think mc is a bit premature in calling the end for ortega? Anyhow I have been randomly checking many sites and individuals on fb.the story seems similar .yes there is ortega support too. Do we discount amnesty international and any other human rights organisations as cia collaborators too.I think there is little doubt that the original protests were attacked by the regime and it has escalated although telesur and rt and the gvnt still blame protestors. Obviously usa has a bad record in nica and central america in general and I have no doubt they have some input but I do not believe that they are pesuasive enough to convince that many people to face up to heavily armed police and paramilitaries without supplying them with real weapons.the danger is the arms will flow. Overnight news ,masaya and matagalpa being attacked by police ,and paramilitaries.and reports that parts of the army are involved out of uniform.I have been reading that ortega is stalling with talks buying time and it seems very much like that.there appears to be a large assault underway.esteli also been taken under control. Mc comments may come back to haunt him .There is no guarantee ortega will leave.protestors however many there are are no match for the heavily armed forces ,the danger is that the opposition will end up armed with more than homemade mortars.who knows where this is heading.god help them it is ugly. Mc is very straight ."It is impossible to predict right now".completely honest.permits may be on hold till after elections if in fact they are agreed .or they may happen fairly soon.no telling.He is doing all you could expect of a ceo,heading off to a fairly dangerous place .hats off to him ,he has and is doing everything he can,it is a case of wait and see and hope that new elections happen.

Yes lets hope it is successful as the situation appears to be deteriorating rapidly.if ortega doesnt see reason and agree to new elections there is no telling where it will end up. I have spent a large part of the day on face book checking various groups and individuals out and this latest atrocity really does appear to have sickened people.there are some pretty horrible videos .I came across some ortega support but the majority ,outraged by ortega ,murillio and the authorities.
