Ref your post 18 june.all of the mentioned organisations came ,went un been booted out recently for documenting abuses.every other organisation also documented.obviously the usa is exagerating as nica is a tiny country compared to syria but non the less there are a large ammount of people that have fled to costa rica.to put it in perspective though ,more people have been killed and injured than in palestine over the same period.
Sanctions have already started actually.more to come.if the kremlin media used on here often is to be believed venezuela would be fine if it wasnt for usa sanctions ,so anyone believing that should be very worried about nicaragua.
The possible nica act is going to target loans to nicaragua.world bank based in washington.
Personally I do not see these backdrops as a perfect selling point.what free media there is that is not owned by ortega is being harrased,doctors and surgeons sacked for treating protestors,protestors are being tried with no acess to the public.nicaragua is run like a mafia organisation with ortegas family taking control media ,oil companies.not bad for an ex bank robber .

Hi,I have been in thr since around2011ish.i had given this share up for dead long ago when it bombed to fractions of a p so was gobsmacked to see it soar from around a tenth of a penny or so to 4 p.I didnt pay too much attention as it had become a tiny holding.it is still at a handsome price compared with a couple of years ago.although no good if you have bought recently
It can be very painful on aim at times.if a profit is seen,generally best to bank some of it.seems pretty stable around 180-220 right now.pretty unlucky to be down in 6 sectors.you do only need a couple of your plays to come good to outweigh the downers.just one in theory may pay for the 5 non performers over time.good luck with it.

.thr had a stormer last year but tbh I held them from about 2011 so seen the full spectrum there and missed out selling at the top.hoping for more action there.
I will probably re buy more here,no rush though imo.want to see the funding out of the way and see how the politicals pan out.good luck and hope it continues over on the oil.

Blundergoals.I really dont care if you get it or not.I was replying to slippery.Having been in here since 2010 I have every right to post here.presently I am happier with my other investments as they have done rather better than cnr over the last 4 months.that is the point of spreading your risk.I post mainly on cnr as it is one of my oldest shares and until april my largest holding.I am much more up to speed with cnr .as regards rrr we both know you lost your pants in that share and I also had a learning experience.in regards to hum,I have taken a punt there.they have not been producing for long .If you think divis are gonna be falling from cnr after 6 months or so production you are in for a shock.my punt is that a rise in the gold price is going to be more beneficial to a producer than a producer in 4 years time and a more likely take over target.I may be wrong.
I dont claim to be wise but I have learnt over time that sitting twiddling your thumbs longterm isnt generally very productive on aim.I am straight,I have just about broken even with my buy backs and got it wrong with the expected re rate.

No reply as I have been away visiting my mother in hospital.re read it.still reads as a guess lol.(pretty bad one).Everyone elses were if a bid came or value but yours was specific. One month after permits 393p.I compared hum,no rise in 5 years ,now in production.I disregard any predictions on share price and timescales.As has been mentioned recently ,cnr should have been sold many years ago for many multiples of the present sp according to those in the know.
Anyhow it is what it is.I expected a fair lift on confirmation.was hoping to be able to sell 38 p shares around 60p so I was out too,just not as much.
I recently sold my re buys at just under 40 p so just about broke even with my rebuys after selling originally at 51p.still holding a much smaller ammount which I am happy with.I have invested elsewhere as I think I will get a better return.of course I could be wrong and will be the first to admit it if so.
My first buy was in 2010 at .95 old money.I have held continually since then ,but learnt over the last five years that you have to be pro active on aim so have traded some of my pot.minimising losses.cnr lost 30 per cent after I sold in april.so rebuying was 30 percent cheaper.still 20 per cent lower.I may well re buy here if I profit elsewhere.
Still think mc is a good ceo and cnr are a good company but I dont see much other than a funding happening here in the short term,and as you know I have a more wary outlook on geo politicals. My main goal is to make a profit rather than a loss .as regards pr,I think this is just silly.mc has attracted 3 very serious investors so not much wrong with his pr skills I reckon.dont see some powder puff pr making any headway with a mid tier producer.any likely predator will be well aware of cnr.best hope that mc's 10 per cent comment was based on something concrete ,which is entirely possible.

As meatloaf once said.you took the words right out of my mouth.jibbo was the top forcaster but there were a few others.I find it dangerous to predict future prices etc on a bb.you can end up like slippery.forcasting 3.93 p a month after permits and looking a bit silly.ironically I swapped some from here to hum last week. More likely near term take out imo.hum has gone all the way to production with a similar resource .Why wait 4 years .still holding some here just in case we have some action after funding as we do have serious investors and a very capable ceo and a good resource.

I disregard stars alligning in regard to investing.permits have taken an age to complete.There are always unforseen problems.

Mc is a shrewd operator raising cash,even having raised at above the prevailing sp many years ago from memory.However raisings have been at ever lower prices over the last 4-5 years.but yes it is his domain.whats your guess on raise price.
I think any company looking to buy or jv will be keeping tabs on the situation.cnr has now to aim for production but maybe something will happen in the next 12 months.
Reading up on ross beaty and equinox.they are looking to buy 100-200oz per year projects..His strategy is buy while prices are low.mr B may have some say in cnr future.speculation on my part but he states he likes south america and africa for buying.He is looking for producing mines but possible that he may look at cnr later down the line.

No chance we will be producing by 2020.2 years for construction and a bfs 1 year plus any added complications.its nearly nearly 2019 now.lets keep it real.

Common complaint on here over the last couple of years is cnr doesn't move when gold price rises.There are more questions than answers now after permits.are cnr serious about constructing the mine.will a buyer appear in the next year? How will funds be raised for bfs and possibly mine build.How will the political situation develop.nica act sanctions etc.
I cannot see a mine ready in 2020.the finance needs to be organised.looking at hum as an example their sp hasnt improved over the last five years ,now in production.

You are probably right.They are petitioning the aos ,which is attached to the world bank .The world bank is the one area that could possibly provide issues imo.one of their stated aims is human rights.all human rights organisations are quoting mass violations ,continueing violations and increased repression.I read that the gvnt is looking to the world bank and imf for loans while usa are looking to bring in sanctions.the world bank based in usa.protests are continuing despite ortegas claims that nica is returning to normal.I wouldnt say nica is prime investment destination presently,and the more anti american rhetoric that ortega comes out with the less desirable it will possibly become

Pat b2 share price has been down nearly a dollar,30 pc roughly since april ,recovering today with the gold price rising.A rise in the gold price may make a difference.hard to make a call on that one .
