I’ve been waiting for a sustained jump to the next level before I do some sells (and then hopefully some buy backs), but have been nervous doing that too low in case I missed the next leg-up. Over 4p and then I’ll start. It does feel as though pressure is building at the moment though.

Thanks. It would be great if these made 5p+ during spud. I hope, but have no ‘target price’ and am prepared to react as events happen (I know that’s alien to you but we’re all different lol).

Waiting a while longer before starting to trade some is not a problem. I just plan to raise some profits here before the results are known (even though I’m very confident in the project).

Good to see you here more :).
Without wishing to hold you to anything, where would you see a good place to think about trading these? I’ve been holding with avg of 2.7 - my thoughts are sell some at 4p. If they drop 10% or so from there, then buy back more at lower price. If they keep motoring up, not an issue as still made 50% approx.
What do your ‘tea-leaves’ say? Lol

My view is quite simple.
I held a lot in the build-up to Tai-1.
I bought more when it dropped and held all that during Tai-2.

I got p1ssed off with what happened during Tai-2 as it ‘appeared’ questionable with the heavy selling. **** happens to us PI’s eh!

I’ve seen quite a few smug posts from people who felt they were right to de-risk. Yes, I get that but we all have a different risk tolerance. However, if/when they make a discovery the SP will motor on and the conviction holders will do very well.

So from here - I will hold and, if this does drift lower, once some of my other investments have (hopefully) made some decent returns, I’ll then take the opportunity to add more and lower my average.

They will make a discovery (IMO) and I am happy to wait. There’s no guarantee of making returns when you invest, so how sick would I feel if I sold here, took those funds, invested elsewhere and that only made small gain (or even worse, when lower), and then this bounces. Not prepared to take that risk and the upside here for another 12 months patience - huge.
Just my opinion of course.

I owe you thanks for 'ramping' this (lol) on the HE1 board. I have 70k shares here (not as many as a lot on here I'm sure), but I've been adding when I can. Might be tempted to take some profits, but I also fear there could be further upside. Oh, decision eh!

The advantage about their treatment is that it can be used on any chest infection - flu, colds, bronchitis, etc.
And the hand sanitiser is not alcohol based, so no adverse skin reactions.
Plus numerous other applications in the pipeline for the HOCL compound.

But, i agree with you about Covid - complete over-reaction and scare stories IMO. Plus, who’d want to take an experimental vaccine which only has emergency approval? Not me lol

Yep, I’m in SpectrumX - big investment lol. Very optimistic about them and the roadmap over the next 12/24/36 months looks very exciting.

Looking forward to a god few months with both ADV and SpecX.

I feel (just my opinion) that they have timed things about perfect, albeit that is a fair bit of luck.

By this I mean there will be a lot of majors wanting to diversify and offload assets, so it will be a buyers market. I would expect that the mid-tiers will therefore be looking to acquire some of the larger assets, so they will either be looking to offload some of their smaller assets, or JV with someone. (Of course, this could all be b*llocks lol).

As you say, B10 is the trigger for an exciting few years I feel.

" We expect an element of shareholder returns" - personally, I would prefer them to retain the working capital in the company and use that to fund growth. If anyone needs any cash then sell a few shares, but don't look for dividends. SP growth is preferable to me.

When i suggested ADV to you, you said you didn’t think it was your type of thing to invest it. So what’s changed (assuming you are invested now)?

What do you think the ‘trade the crude’ means? Does this mean that they will sell the production rights to someone and get paid (albeit at a discounted value) for their share in B10?

I do wonder if ADV won’t actually do the production in B10 themselves, but take a lower profit up-front and use this for new projects. Thoughts?

As DBD stated, I am heavily invested in ADV. Also, lots of HE1 (yeah, I know, not a great call, but still hopeful on them for the discovery eventually) and SpectrumX. Agree with the sentiment on SpectrumX, as IMO, the hand-gel will support the float mcap and the nebuliser will be the real game-changer once (if) it gets approval. The test results so far have been incredible and it's hopefully it will be tested during the 'chest infection' season this winter on more than just covid.

Back to ADV, with the movement away from oil/gas by the majors due to political pressure, I wonder if this is behind the additional agreements being pursued by ADV. The stupid thing is, we will be needing fossil fuels for decades to come no matter what the likes of Greta and XR say. I wonder if they have something larger lined up on the expectation of the discover in B10 and the increased mcap will be used to push that through.

I'm quietly waiting for either news on next steps which will (hopefully) lead to a pick-up in the SP.
OR
If there's no news (or nothing of note in terms of water-rig drilling), then I will look to buy if the SP drops to circa 7p, and then hold until drilling new season.

It's going to be quiet here until activity starts within HE1 though as nothing to talk about (unless you're @InTheVoid who can always find something to talk about eh mate! lol).

Until they tell us their planes, they’re just in limbo. That doesn’t diminish the fundamentals of the project though.

Patent received and plans to test their vanadium for VRFBs with a German Institute.

Wonder if this is what caused the pick-up in activity last week or so.

That’s my view too - the upside here is not so much from the B10 drill/success, it’s more what that success enables them to do.
Once the B10 is proven (which is highly likely after all), assuming that one of more of the potential agreements being negotiated take make capital, they may choose to :
1. Sell the production rights and generate immediate capital.
Or
2. Carry out a raise but with less dilution for existing holders.

As has been said by others, there’s unlikely to be any agreements announced before the drill results of B10 if the new agreements entail capital and dilution. The only agreements announced before then won’t dilute IMO.

Interesting few months, as Q1 next year could see a substantial increase in the portfolio here.

Following on from @Oiler87’s post, I was wondering how the calculations for the reserves potentially change if the column depth increases. For example. If the estimated depth is 90m, but this increases to 120m, is this naturally a 1/3 increase in the recoverables, or does it not work that way?
Are there too many other factors which potentially affect the calcs?
