Similar to my thoughts Wyn. The plans changed after they’d ordered the rig/declared the plan to drill 3 (or 4) holes. Tai became a “must drill” location and then the issues happened (which appear to stem from a bad choice of drill - i.e. mineral being too small).
Then, with all the issues, there were delays and at the end of Tai-1, they realised the reality. The rig wouldn’t do it. So, drill Tai again (just 20m away after all) and hopefully get the small discovery. but then that went south as the geology was different even 20m away.

All we can do is wait and see, but at least with the LSE webinar he is open to being challenged by PI’s unlike the ProActive interviews which are more like a PR video.

We need some positive news to support this now, or I can see further slight drift. Not that I’m really bothers me as I’m holding until next summers drill campaign - even if there is a slight raise to fund that as I don’t believe he £10m cash will fund the seismic, shallow drills and the deep drill.

4p to me is a psychological level as it’s a round number. Also, it’s 50% up for me (approx) on my average. So, if I trade some at that level and the SP shoots up, then I have still made a very nice return. If they drop and I can buy back more for the same funds - cushty,
I have no hard and fast rules which I stick to - I know you do and I respect your choices and I can see the advantage to that, but also the potential pitfalls (nothing in investing is easy eh! Lol).

I’m maxed out here 7.63m @ 2.634 average. Bought is large and early. Made the mistake on HE1 of buying in over time and averaging up. I did add some around 3.1 which took my average up and may trade some once we get north of 4p (with intention to buy back more on any drops).

With the expected news-flow over the next 3 months here, I can’t see any major risks, but will sell a chunk before the results to take average even lower. Upside potential look really good, both in terms of COS, potential for exceeding estimates, higher oil price, accelerated production plan and additional agreements. All very positive IMO.

Thanks Wyn/ontarget. I still have a sceptical view on any great advantage to TA within AIM/explorers myself, but still read and consider what others say.

Must admit, I had thought by early October we’d be in the 4p+ range. Maybe end of the month we’ll see some sustained increase.

Does this mean that as it's closed at 3.5p (below the 'support' level of 3.58p) that 3.58p is not a support level?

Agree Wyn, in regards that they are in a better position in terms of understanding.

They have a 2 pronged attack here (purely my opinion of course). They will, I expect, carry out the seismic survey and then use that to drive the 2 types of drills they plan to undertake.
First attack will be on the shallow targets. I expect this to happen maybe late this year or into Q1 2022. My hunch on this is to enable one or more small discoveries to be declared. This will obviously underpin a higher SP and then allow a raise with less dilution for : Attack number 2.
This will be to big , deep reservoirs which will really propel the SP to much higher levels.

We're in drift mode at the moment and that suits me. If the oiler delivers over the next 4-6 weeks then I'll be adding a chunk more here at these prices. Short-term fluctuations (apart from the psychological impact to my portfolio haha) don't impact anything. Longer term investors can look at very healthy returns within the year IMO.

I think it’ll be quite here for a few months pal. I’m (selfishly) hoping the SP drops a little more as I have a couple of other investments which I expect to do very well Nov/Dec (main 2 are ADV and SpectrumX - they are coming to market 4th week Nov and I’ve invested in the pre-IPO).
So, I want to add a big chunk more of HE1 before any campaign next year as the SP will rise from here IMO. My plan will be to use gains to help kids out on housing market.

For those with funds and patience buying at these levels and holding for 6-9 months will see returns of at least 100% before the drill campaign (of course, that’s just my opinion).

I presume you mean GP and not Harry P lol.

There were rumours flying around during the summer that he was on their radar. He’s on a long contract with BHA, so it would cost to buy him out of that, and Tony Bloom is a tough negotiator.

Also GP seems to be a loyal type of person, and is well supported within the club and fan base. I’m not even sure he would choose to leave. He’s only just got settled in the area and his kids are in local schools, so he would need to relocate again to North London.

I’m not saying he won’t get approached nor that he might decide to take the next step to a bigger club, just that I would also not be surprised if he chose not to. Sometimes being at a bigger club with the weight of expectation of the fans can maybe make it less enjoyable too.

Shame it didn’t work out for him here. Maybe too soon for him to be at that level and needing to be playing regularly. You’ve made a decent start - think you’ll be up thereafter end of season?

We played well - just couldn’t find that killer touch today. Also got quite a few first choose players out as well, so hopefully more back after the international break. But, I’m very pleased with our start and overall progress under Potter.

Just wait for the news flow - that's all we need.

Day-to-day fluctuations aren't that important really :)

I was expecting some profit taking today after the recent strong showing. Be interesting where this goes next week if this level holds.

Eventually managed to get the option to sell over 300k shares, but by then the price had dropped back a bit. Sold 100k to top-up into Zephyr.
I guess this still suffers from lack of liquidity a bit. That’ll change gradually I think.

All online for me. Not usually a problem, just seems with the smaller mcap shares there are times when there’s limited buy/sell options. I don’t think it’s HL - seems to happen to other brokers too.

Managed to sell some of my ADV as they spiked (limited volume for selling which is a shame), so I added another 60k today.

Will look at adding more tomorrow if able to trade some others.

I was looking to sell some of my ADV holding and top up here but can't get a price on HL even for 5k shares (less than £200). They've spiked a bit and wanted to use the gains here. Good price IMO to buy in still.

Also, I noticed a 3m trade (shown as a sell) about 1:30 today. So maybe some offloading still going on?

I mean 5k shares is less than £200 - jeez. I'm not that bothered - I was looking to sell a small amount and buy some Zehpyr as we've had a decent up day. Then, if Zephyr bounced, reverse the trade.

Maybe the spike is just linked to the overall rises in energy prices. My ADV holdings are up similar % too.

I tried to get a price to do a dummy-sell. On HL can't get a price for 5k shares. Very odd I thought.
