Interesting 3 months coming up with Tech Mins, ADV and SepctrumX. If Tech Mins does well, then I’ll be more relaxed about leaving all (or most) of my ADV to results. If not, then I’ll need to sell some to limit exposure.

I feel Jan could be a good month for ADV - the results won’t be before Xmas, so even if they announce before NY the market will be quiet. With positive results and a new agreement (or 2) announced in Jan, this could get to 10p+.

I’ve put a reasonable chunk of my funds in here, but also have other investments too. The COS is definitely reassuring, but as SI points out, it’s not guaranteed. Therefore, there is a certain amount of concern just of the of chance something goes wrong. It’ll be a slightly stressful 6 odd weeks from here :)

The good thing is, with all of the buying that we have done we’re all going to get a nice profit once the rise happens - just a matter of timing.
Maybe we’ll actually get the next leg-up next week when the LSE interview happens as I’m sure by then we’ll have notice of the rig.
With the excellent COS, both drill and production, then the level of profit taking will surely be lower than usual. The COS for production I would expect is higher than that from RISC as the Oil Price is higher. Whether the rise happens now of 2 weeks, doesn’t really matter.
I think anyone waiting on the sidelines for lower prices (mid 3p) will regret delaying.

Sorry mate - misleading post. No, I’ve not sold up, just meant that I’m sitting on a large loss here. I have never felt comfortable selling and using the money elsewhere in case the new investment drops and/or HE1 release some good.news and then spikes up. As you say, patience is what we need and I’m sticking firm :).

I’ve been informed that Tech Mins does not have a lower limit with Arden, but it is now oversubscribed. Don’t know if that means a reduced allocation for those who apply or if you can still apply. Just thought I’d update you. What it should mean is that their debut should have momentum.

Managed to free further funds and bought another 250k shares too. Needed to join in the fun :)

I din’t get into He1 until they were about 12-13p. That’s when I found out about them. Win some/lose some. It’s character building haha.

But on the upside, I hold a chunk of TXP too. Nice rise today :).

Yes, it's Arden & Partners. They have only recently set-up the client side as they used to just be institution focussed. The advantage is that with the client-arm now, there may be the chance to pick-up any scraps left over if Arden does a placing and the institutions don't use it all. Need to wait and see how things unfold I think.

The listing date for Spec is not confirmed yet. Maybe end of Nov but more likely Jan. Tech Mins is 17th I've been told today.

I also watched Bens Creek - thought about taking the plunge when they were about 10.5-11.0p but never did (shoots myself in head lol). My funds are also very stretched now with the IPO's , the oiler and HE1 holdings.

Made my last top-up today. Won't be adding more as very exposed here already.

Bought 500k at 4.05p.

Thanks for your comments guys. The sanitiser revenues will support the float mcap. However, they have a patent pending for the process to stabilise HOCL and use within a nebuliser. This goes beyond Covid and covers all respiratory diseases IMO. There are trials underway on treating Covid and additional trial planned on other respiratory infections during the up-coming winter.

Also, they have a pipeline of additional treatments they are testing with this stabilised HOCL compound.

We'll have to wait and see how it works out.

In relation to the IPO question. I know the min was £10k on SpecX - not sure about Tech Mins. I believe all IPO’s will have different requirements, but the company I have now got an account with (Arden) I believe will have criteria which they will stick to ( in terms of income, assets etc.).
There will be companies which arrange IPOs who may be looking at smaller raises, so their criteria will probably be less strict (however, I don’t know who they are so you could check them out).
I will make a mental note to notify you on here when I know the listing date in case you want to buy some on the opening day. IMO, it has the potential for superb returns, but of course, you’d need to DYOR ;).

It’s more a case that there are risks getting into production and also there are still some risks with the reservoir. It’s things he’s mentioned to me in emails which I won’t post as it’s not my place to. With all BB’s there are rampers/positive posters who only want to see the upside and not consider the downside and react badly to any posts which question their thoughts.

On the other hand, he also feels there is potential upside to the size of the discovery. My impression is that the main risks are post discovery and in getting the production sorted. Do the companies have the people to do this - yes they have experience, but how mush of that is management compared to hands-on? (that part is my opinion).
Assuming the very likely successful drill, I agree there will likely be a lull in the SP post results, but to balance that, if the results are positive they supposedly have additional deals lined up which could help the SP go higher.

Dai, I believe our mutual advisor for O&G co’s has de-risked some of his holding in the other one as there are some risks post drill in his opinion. He will be holding some through to the drill results though. I am currently still holding all that I’ve purchased, but will be selling some during the next few weeks to free funds for another pre-IPO and also with the aim to get close to a free carry for the results. Worst result is that I just lose any profits, but I do expect a decent rise as I believe the drill to be a success. I’ll be looking to add more HE1 from those profits though and hold during the build up through next year, but with the expectation to sell and recover some of my losses here.

Sorry for the delay - been busy over the weekend.

I understand your caution. As good as the chances are here, there is still a risk, albeit very low. The question to ask is “what would the future plans be for ADV if the 5% risk of failure happened?”. Not trying to be a dr-ramper, but being alert to all possible outcomes is prudent I feel. Saying that, I am also very heavily invested here as I like the story.

I’m currently in 2 Pre-IPO’s. Technology Minerals is due to list on 18th Nov. The other one is Spectrum X and this date is ‘fluid’. Current info is end of Nov or, more likely IMO, third week (ish) in Jan. That now seems to be the preference as it’s supposedly easier to build and maintain momentum without a long break when the city as good as shuts down. I’m very bullish about SpecX - amazing amount of upside/potential (IMO).

My post was related to the suggestions that the rig is close to being moved. As for timing, I wouldn’t be waiting to get in if I were on the sidelines. The drop below 4p was temporary IMO based on the news of a slight delay (1-2 weeks) until spud. Seems odd for that to have an impact - or maybe it was just usual market noise.

I’m waiting now for the “Wouldn’t want to be out of this for the weekend” comments. Lol

(That’s why trading is ‘risky’ IMO. You may make on some but also miss out on others).

Great board this one - good discussions/info and none of the scvm-bags (yet). Glad you’ve topped up - couple of good months coming up and momentum should build a bit (predicting the timing is hard though).
Nice profit on your trading - it’s always a tough thing to get right. News can happen and move the SP a lot so you miss out on some upswings, but if you can get it right more times than not, it would appear a sensible plan. Wyn does a lot of trading I believe. I tend to be more of a holder, although I do swap between shares I like when I perceive better value. (Not traded any ADV yet - just seem to keep accumulating lol).

All strikers have lean spells - hope he keeps banging them in for you. Can’t believe we’re still where we are in the league - just enjoying the games and seeing what happens. No delusional ideas from me about how big a club we are lol.

Congrats to all (like me) who took the opportunity to top up on the drop.
Should make some nice gains over the next few weeks (even if you decide to sell before results).

There’s a poster on here who is close to having a TR1 holding. I believe he’s been in early days too :).

Just added another 950k (in a few trades) all just over the 4p level. Holding now 9.35m - but won’t hold all for results - can’t afford the risk (even 5% is a risk albeit very low).
