These price predictions 120 or 150p how are you coming to those numbers?
NAV or and dividends?
I was thinking 8p dividends this year.
At 120 that's 6.6% dividend.
At 150 that's 5.3% dividends
Someone has suggested a 10p dividend this year.
If so
At 120 it's a 8.3% dividend
At 150 it's 6.6% dividend
I don't think new buyers would want anything less than 8% dividend. Not in the near term maybe a few years down the road when the dust has settled.
Prior to the crash the dividend was at one time 12% + (not fully covered).
Now I do know the price post crash reached or nearly reached 120p but that was before the fire sale of the pubs and the sale of other assets. So I can't understand how these numbers are possible?

Looking at my dividend investment trusts Value is back in fashion.
For the moment!

Good run. I am back in profit 5% and 40%.
I am hoping for a 8p dividend.

Checked a few on trust pilot. A lot with 4 stars. Persimmon 3 stars. Gleesons definitely going start of next tax year.

Trustpilot score 2.5. Not checked other builders. I would say 50% one star scores going back a year. Not good.

I was getting the impression that the 4 billion "claim" was against all builders but judging by the marginal fall in Gleeson share price it doesn't include them.
I have 30 % share price gain from march 2020. As they are building more houses now than 2019. Reasonable to think share price would be higher. In fact well of there year high of 904.
The poor finish and failure to complete all planning may result in me selling after April 6th. Needed to take out some cash out of sipp.

Looks like they are holding onto the £3 plus. Maybe a run upto £3.50 by March 16th (it will be in my bank account by the 27tjh) I am selling all in my sipp. I can move the Money into my isa in April. I need growth to meet a change in investment strategy. And will be able to move it out without paying tax. I also have to much invested in L and G but will keep the ones in my fund and share account.

Fell back considerably but Up 4% now. Spread has narrowed significantly at least last Fridays has.
Bought on trust pilot reviews 72,000 reviews give it a 4.8 out of 5 score. About as good as it gets. Also expansion into Europe.
Only got £1600 worth. First purcase via primary bid.
Looks to me like 5 year hold.

A buy back must by definition result in a lower dividend.
I would assume that sometime in the future that might be something the shareholders would support....via vote.

A scip issue is a choice a buy back isn't.
