Well, well, well, Swerves...penny finally dropping I take it? As you say on the other board: Block Energy (operating out of the UK) situated in Georgia, has no problems with permits...so why Georgian Mining? This thunderous silence is nothing short of an absolute disgrace! Even at these prices who, apart from the very few who might be privy to imminent news, would buy in here...even at these prices? If the permit came through right now the lamentable behaviour of the BOD is completely inexcusable. Truly mind-boggling!!!

This is a real "feather in the cap" for Haydale; this could be one of those "defining moments" where one can look back and say: "it all changed from here on in". The National Physics Laboratory (Bushy Park, Teddington, London) is the UK's National Measurement Standards Laboratory...it comes under the jurisdiction of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. If this RNS had been announced by VRS the share price would have shot up by at least 15 - 20 points. Good news indeed -- well done Haydale!!

What is all this talk about Brexit? What on earth has Brexit got to do with the s.p crash? Answer -- nothing!! It is simply a case of the most basic fundamentals: the Royal Mail is just another glaring example of yet another huge company who, and bedeviled by a powerful and intransigent union which for years refused to grow up and embrace the inevitable onslaught of forward thinking companies who were already heavily investing into latest technology, left it almost to the eleventh hour before they realized the desperate situation they had placed themselves into. People on here point the finger at the responsibilities placed upon the Royal Mail as the "Universal Mail Provider" as being part of their problems -- rubbish!! Without that massive and unequaled network slowly and surely built up over the last 500 years the Royal Mail would be, by now, in very, very serious trouble. If there is one thing that has kept this company from sinking without trace or being the subject of a hostile takeover attempt it is the rigid incumbence of just that. Ironical is it not? This is by no definition a short or medium term return -- it is a long term investment...and a lot more troubled water to run under the old bridge still, methinks.

Not to inform us private investors of the true ongoing objections, obstructions and underlying problems concerning this permit is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!! Shame on you GEO!!!

I am not suggesting it is a con you understand...I am just curious as to Mr Packwood's reasoning. The fault, as far as confidence in the integrity of the company is concerned, lies firmly and squarely at the feet of the board. Most obviously, if there is a problem in acquiring the permit...for any particular reason whatsoever, then the shareholders should have been informed -- despite the consequences for the share price!! Even if the permit is soon obtained there is still no possible excuse, or explanation, for this lamentable wall of silence. Truly -- a scandalous situation!!!

I do not know how long you have been involved here, Waccamacca...but for me it is quite a while. I have been involved since the share price was 55p! I have had to average down considerably just to make it to slightly over 2 pence a share. This is now a straight choice: you do as I suggest below (the smarter policy...no doubt) or you hold. A straight sh*t or bust choice!! Its your call. P.s Don't hold your breathe on this one...any person with the opinion that this will soon "bounce" back up to even 4 or 5 pence a share is just a complete d*ck.

Hhmmm...Mr Packwood "coping". Yes...I have long wondered what compelled Mr Packwood to "further invest" in this company...especially at such a late hour. Was it just a question of "doubling up"? Or was there something else involved. Interesting...is it not?

The only thing we know for sure about Haydale is that its future, unless some decent sized orders start coming in, in the short term even is not exactly "secured". I am beginning to think that Woodstock is adopting the best policy here: sell it off , on the occasional rise, in increments-- and get out!!

I could not agree with you more concerning your comment, lignumvitae: "clearly there is something of a stock overhang which is slowly being whittled away". This is the most obvious conclusion to draw when taking but just a quick glance at the charts going back over the last several weeks or so. And I agree again -- potential indeed!

I am one of a number of people on here who has taken a lot of stick over my comments regarding the inefficiencies concerning things such as: under productivity due to a workforce that has been over indulged whilst being protected by the most militant, still existing, union in the UK. And all I got was derided and ridiculed. I have also said this time and time again...but what the hell -- one more time won't hurt: investing in these shares means you are in it for the long haul...and by that I mean 4 - 5 years at the very least. And yes the share price may well fall as low as 175 pence...but who really cares as a long term investor? In a years time these prices will be a distant memory. The cry then will be -- why the hell did'nt I buy more when I had the bleed*n chance!!!!

Er...ahem...still waiting. Remind me again: why cannot you contain yourself for Monday? And as for your comment, Swerves, regarding no confidence in the directors due to their zero interest in buying in at such a low price: well, yes...it is rather alarming...is it not?

There is no pomp or ceremony with this little company...just keeps beavering away doing its own little thing. Graphene is proving to be still yet (for all the grandiose ides being touted about) in the main, very much in its infancy. This new "wonder" material is a classic of classic examples of: "The cart before the horse". Everyone acknowledges its fantastic properties -- but the attempted commercialization was 10 years too early. As is proven by the newly constructed GEIC in Manchester. However, all that said...in AGM, I think they are, finally, at the start. Hope so! I do not know if you are just seeing a trading opportunity here, Freddie, or if indeed you are thinking longer term, but, personally, I am in for the long haul myself. Graphene is here to stay...and is definitely part of our future. Welcome aboard!

I applaud you, InvestingGenius...personally I do not think it would adversely effect the decision to grant the permit or not; you are only stating the blindingly obvious! Perhaps the Motley Fool crew might be interested in doing a bit of investigative research here? Might be a good case study for any future (foreign or otherwise) investors concerning Georgian governmental industrial and commerce policies. As for Georgian Mining...well, what can one say? Apart: Why go all this time without informing the shareholders of the problems if it was just a straightforward case of "conflicting bureaucracy"? That is just a complete nonsense!! And even if remotely true...what possible excuse could Georgian Mining put forward to excuse this lamentable and extended deafening silence? Answer; NONE!!!

Well, InvestingGenius...that should certainly have them shaking in their fur-lined boots. But you are quite right of course: if this goes T*ts-up because of any "untoward complications" (ahem...) then, obviously, it would not bode well for further investment, by foreign investors anyway at the very least, into their local economies; Block Energy comes to mind regarding Georgia and investing. Shame if this turns out to be the way...it was always worth a small punt. It might even still come off!

I note, with much renewed vigor, that "Short Interest Tracker" is showing the positions on Royal Mail to have been closed quite significantly. Another top for me...nothing lasts forever.

What the f*ck does "Permitting Challenge" actually mean? I understand the words simply enough...but not the sentiment. Does it mean: God permitting we will overcome the challenge? Or something to that effect. Or is it just a load of nonsensical horse-shit? Hold on a minute...what the hell is that God-damned awful smell!!!??? P.s I would buy more shares in this company(?) if I thought there was even one chance in three of it surviving...which I don't.
