Except that is not what the update stated... it stated:
"2024 year end net financial debt to adjusted EBITDA, pre IFRS 16, expected to be less than 1"
CPI are saying that's going to be the position CPI will be in at End December 2024 (which they will then report that position on in the Full Year Results when they publish the figs in March...
So when ppl actually come to read the report in early March (entirely possible they even choke to death on their cornflakes on digesting that very RNS)... it'll already be the case that two full months (and a few days) will have already passed, so things will have become even worse fiscally by the time folks are reading that.
